To me, the best truffle pizza on the island and probably the I’ve EVER had. The service is professional and the food, overall is well prepared. I will be back for an incredible experience on your beach tables. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Stay in Le Barthelemy

May 14th, 2019

The property of Le Barthelemy is beautiful! Recently re-opened and expanded in October 2018. Hotel is right on the Grand Cul de Sac lagoon which has gorgeous clear water - perfect for swimming, or SUP/kayaking which is included in your stay. Valet is also complimentary, we rented a car to tour the island, and it was nice not to worry about parking. The rooms are beautiful and they have everything you need. I needed a voltage converter and it was available in my room within 5 minutes of asking. Service is impeccable and the food, although expensive, is super delicious. We can't wait to go back . My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at Le Barthelemy for 6 nights in April 2019. Everything at the hotel is absolutely amazing, from the rooms to the staff to the location. Prior to our arrival the hotel, the hotel staff arranged for a free airport pickup as well as having our rental car delivered directly to our hotel. So when we arrived in St. Barts there was no hassle, just a friendly driver and a luxury SUV waiting for us. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the hotel staff were waiting for us as well as a representative from Budget. After signing our car rental documents we were personally escorted to our upgraded, totally private lagoon view room. The room was huge and luxurious with a complementary cold bottle of champagne waiting for us. The hotel is located on Anse de Grande Cul de Sac which is a nature preserve. While the beach is definitely not the best beach on St Barts, it is super quiet and peaceful. There are lots of turtles you can go swimming with on the left side of the cove accessible either by walking along the beach or renting a free kayak or paddle board and snorkel equipment. We saw numerous turtles within two minutes of entering the water and this quickly became or morning routine after the abundant and delicious complementary breakfast served there. There was also the possibility for kite boarding lessons as well as renting a private boat or jet skis for island tours. Combined with the beautiful infiniti pool, the hotel is so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were absolutely incredible, always friendly, professional and efficient. They assisted us with dinner reservations at all of the top restaurants on the island (which there are a ton) as well as offered assistance in booking any activities and recommending the best beaches to visit. We spent our days touring the island, going to a different beautiful beach every day and then out for incredible dinners every night. It was a perfect, romantic and relaxing vacation. Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing property, truly great service, ugly view

May 9th, 2019

Writing this review is tricky because the property itself is immaculate and the service is top notch, but the view is another story. The water and rocky land is beautiful, but there are quite a few boats, and not nice boats, ugly unkempt boats, that are docked either right near the shore. There was also the dirtiest most torn up boogie board I’ve ever seen anchored maybe 4 feet from the shore. And it was their the duration of our stay. Didn’t look like any of the boats were going anywhere either. I’m guessing that Le Barthélemy has no control over this, but when you’re paying that much, you probably don’t want to see that. We also stayed at Hotel Christopher and went to Cheval Blanc, both of which are at similar price points and they didn’t have this issue. So I don’t know what’s going on over there in the lagoon in front of Le Barthélemy. As I said though, our room and the other facilities were amazing and every employee we encountered was helpful and kind. So I guess I’m going to have to say 3 stars! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
