Your business/expat travel hotel

Feb 16th, 2020

Rates here are great, esp if you're an ex-pat wanting to stay somewhere for a few months, their long-stay rates will most likely fit the bill. The area is good, with a supermarket and a handfull of restos steps away. Might want to take a good look here if you want to stay here for business. Not great for a staycation though. I love and hate this place. The property was designed ahead of its time but feels dated because of poor management. they don't make the effort to upkeep the place, but their strategy is to hope people don't complain and move on to their next destination. The place is generally clean though. The shower, for example, has a good design but poor upkeeping really shows. They don't bother fixing the rain-shower system, the rain shower leaks cold water when you use the regular faucet. The telephone line is ripped and not replaced. The sink water handles get loose and will turn on in the middle of the night. The hotel makes it up because their staff is great, very good attitude and will be apologetic if you point out something wrong. I also have a feeling that they know how bad the infrastructure has become, but can't do anything about it because it'll cost them a lot to update the whole hotel. I can't wait for them to reno the place this summer. Will I stay here again or even consider renting? Yes, for what you are paying for you are getting a lot more. Oh and one last thing, sound isolate is absolutely terrible, so go find something to do during the day and only return when it's time for bed. Ask for earplugs? sorry, they don't have any. Relaxing Night

Feb 14th, 2020

It was a relaxing night for me after a busy day. We took the package of celebration with a free-upgrade room type, comp. sparkling wine, comp. cake, in-room decor and breakfast for two. After a long day ran, we check-in quite late and there was only 1 staff in Front Office for maintaining service. The staff is so nice and cheerful even i know he must be in a night shift though. We keep chatting and discussed the face mask quality as a friend in this virus situation. When we were going to park before getting in the room, he also offer a Le Meridien Octopus card for us to use. It is a really nice offer!!!! He is Elvis (if i didnt remember it wrong), a nice and warm staff that Le Meridien owned. However, it was a bit disappointed when we ordered the IRD breakfast on next morning. The staff who picked calls is quite polite and patient but IRD staff has missed one drink and side lemon, so she has to come twice. I am not sure if it is miscommunication or else...i think they should be communicate better no matter is guest service took the wrong order or IRD team missed the items. We met Elvis again when we check out and he keeps his professional service as night before. Hopefully we will come and see more staff like Elvis again! P.s sausage of English breakfast is not tender enough and the whole set of breakfast is not hot enough too. BTW, Thanks Chefs for preparing it! :) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Had a wonderful staycation during CNY

Feb 1st, 2020

Second visit since last May in Le Meridien Cyberport Hong Kong because it is such a good hotel. The Prompt restaurant on 4/F is very good, I suppose that guy is the restaurant manager who was able to a very professional service. Outside the restaurant is a vast open area which is very comfortable to enjoy sunshine. The hotel has this free shuttle bus service which takes about 20 minutes to reach the airport express mass transit railway in Central, so efficient and hassle-free. And like the previous visit, the housekeeping is good the front desk is good the concierge is good. Will re-visit next time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Another potential spot to stay in Hong Kong

Jan 30th, 2020

If you are prepared to stay away from the central area this is good hotel. there is plenty of eating places across the road and a supermarket below. A very pleasant hotel to stay in. Avoid the breakfast, only because of the cost, but overall an excellent experience. getting there can be harder because of no train, but buses also work! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My recent stay

Dec 23rd, 2019

Spacious , clean, and nice garden/sea view from room. Room amenity refreshed daily according to request . Great location as only short commute between hospital and hotel. Free shuttle service to/from HK Airport Express terminal is a plus. Both Front Desk and Housekeeping staff are friendly and efficient. Only disappointment is pool closed for maintenance starting Dec 23 which means i wont be able to enjoy the pool the entire time of my visit!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
