We stayed in one of beach rooms and the view was absolutely unbeatable. Lush grounds and the bluest water all around. What is nice is that this hotel is quite central (so if you're looking for something completely isolated, this won't be the right fit) - allowing for you to walk around, meet with locals, and try traditional cuisines (and street food!) It is also down the road from some fancy hotels, allowing for additional food options (short walk away). If you're planning a trip to the Seychelles, I certainly recommend hiring a driver for a day so you can explore additional beaches in and around the area. So much to see! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My husband and I had a very nice stay at Le Meridien during the first part of our honeymoon in the Seychelles. I was getting nervous before our arrival after reading through some of the recent reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised once we got there. We booked with points, and we were upgraded to a junior suite prior to our arrival (of which I was notified via email a day or two in advance, which I appreciated) with an oceanfront patio. Yes, the property is dated, but the staff were so helpful and friendly, and the location at the far end of Beau Vallon beach was wonderful. The staff helped us arrange taxis and excursions, and they were quick to respond to any of our requests for assistance. We were there at the end of December, and a few weeks before our arrival the grounds had suffered some damage from strong winds. The pool was closed and undergoing repairs, and the beachfront was unstable and not usable, so we had to walk over to the H Hotel next door to have full beach and pool access. At the H, we were free to use their pool, beachfront lounge chairs, and we enjoyed a small discount on food and drink purchases. Yes, it was an annoyance to have to walk a bit to get to the H's beachfront area, but it quickly became a simple addition to our routine. Overall, if you're considering booking something in the Seychelles on points, this is an excellent option. If you're paying full price, you may want to at least consider some other options in the area; having said that, if you do stay here, I think you'll find that the location and the staff make this hotel worth your while. We were really comfortable here, and we were sad to leave it! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Bucket list Trip

3 star resort for a 5 star price. The facility requires an upgrade from the condition of the pool furniture to the decking on the boardwalk which has not been repaired. Service ranges from good to poor with a simple request or ice taking from 10 to 45 minutes. Pool beverage service is dismal (especially since the resort is working at 10% capacity with the coronavirus) with no staff asking guests if they are in need of a beverage. Issues with food quality and oversight are also questionable since we were the recipients if previously opened condiment jars and a pepper shaker which produced a black liquid stream across my dinner plate. Management has provided many excuses with no resolution to concerns. The H Resort down the road would be a better option as we has a great experience at Trader Vic's for dinner. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Amazing time and cocktail at the Sunset bar

The terrace of the sunset bar was closed due to the damages caused by the cyclone, but I still spent some time at the bar. The barman was really friendly and the cocktail divine... I sipped it at the infinity pool. It was an amazing relaxing time after the marathon I ran ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
