Excellent, balanced luxury
Sep 17th, 2020
Having stayed in many different hotels in the Frankfurt area I decided to book at the "Le Meridien" as it kept on popping up in my Bonvoy app (it was a SPG property before the merger). I must say, I regret not having done this earlier, as to my opinion the "Le Meridien Frankfurt" is the best hotel in the Frankfurt area that I have stayed so far. It show luxury, but not over the top (so balanced). The staff is great and friendly (did not run into anyone who was grumpy, despite the COVID19 tensions and measures for instance). Also, there was an issue with the replacement cups of the coffee maker in my room, and I received a nice personalised note explaining about the problem and the solution (free coffee vouchers). This was well thought of. Also, I did receive an upgrade from the junior suite I had initially booked to the Skyline Suite, which was really nice obviously, but even within the junior suite I would have really enjoyed the entire stay. I did read about some criticism about the area where the hotel is located, I guess it's just which way you wanna walk, as the are of the Hauptbanhoff and the Kaisserstrasse are easily to be circumvented to arrive to some of the great spots of town (for instance, the river is a 4 minute walk away, the Alter Oper area is about a 20 min walk, so plenty of great options). Upscale Hotel Conveniently Located Near Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Central Train Station)
Aug 20th, 2020
Every time we visit Frankfurt, we stayed at this upscale hotel, a member hotel of Marriott Hotel group. We had stayed again at this hotel for 2 nights during our train travel through selected German cities with German Railpasses. The hotel has all the trademark features of an upscale hotel. The facilities and amenities were excellent, and the hotel staff members’ service was excellent. Buffet breakfast was excellent. The hotel was within a walking distance from the train station via underground passageway. Train travllers off their trains can reach this hotel by following the steps described below: (1) Walk toward the concourse direction (head of the platform direction) (2) Look for the station’s main exit near the heads of platform # 11 & # 12, and walk toward the station’s exit hallway leading to the station’s main entrance/exit doors. (3) In the middle of the hallway, look for the escalators at the center of the the hall before reaching the entrance/exit doors. (4) Take the down escalator to the underground concourse Walk to the intersection, and turn right. Walk straight ahead all the way to deadend. (5) Turn left, and take the up escalator (with sign “Ausgang Munchener Strasse”) to the street level. (6) At the head of the escalator, turn right Walk along the street hugging the buildings on the left side Pass “Hotel The Frankfurt” followed by “Savoy Hotel”. (7) Stay hugging along the buildings on the left until you see “Le Meridien Hotel” sign on the left. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Near the train station which is convenient but not a nice area. Hotel is stark but clean. Get in and get out, don’t make this a destination. Breakfast is good, bar was really nice and had home made gins with creative drinks A little to funky for me - so deal couldn’t see and chairs that were right from the Jerson’s TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
My favorite hotel in Frankfurt
Feb 24th, 2020
Whenever I‘m in Frankfurt, I stay at the Le Meridien. It‘s by far my favorite business hotel (and I‘ve tried a few of the other choices with similar pricing, e.g. Marriott, Steigenberger Metropolitan or Hessischer Hof). I appreciate the style of the rooms, the good location right next to the main train station and the amazing staff. Rooms are modern and spacious with all the amenities I expect from a hotel in this category. I especially like the walk-in rain showers (and the fact that showers are not combined with the bath tub - I hate climbing into the shower) and the comfortable, big beds. The only improvement I would suggest is introducing proper reading lights by the bed. Breakfast choices are ample (they have Guacamole for breakfast :-)) and quality as well as service are great. If I could suggest two more additions to the breakfast choices, it would be waffles and pancakes (both European style, not the tasteless American stuff). My particular culinary highlight, though, is the complimentary gummi bear bar for Bonvoy customers next to the reception (although it‘s very dangerous for my summer beach figure...). Finally, one of the greatest assets of the hotel for me is the staff. In particular, I’d like to mention Ms Guni and Ms Pabst who always make me feel welcome and well taken care of during my stays in Frankfurt - a big thanks & keep up the great work! I‘m looking forward to my next stays over the next few weeks! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Upon arrival I was greeted and recognized from my last stay ,a year ago, by Mr. Katara, Concierge Service, who came to my rescue by actually lending the fare for the Airport taxi after the driver was not able to use his card reader and I was out of local cash. All hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen and the staff is efficient, skilled and very friendly. Great way to start the day! Thank you.
