Wonderful staff and location

Apr 22nd, 2019

The best parts of this lovely boutique hotel are the truly wonderful staff and the location in the old town. We stayed 4 nights in a spacious suite which was clean and had all the amenities required for our family. A few negatives which we pointed out to front desk were: the gym was closed with no alternative, the bed was really uncomfortable and elevator noise woke us up each day. Although we had a great stay we would probably choose somewhere different next time in Montréal due to these issues. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Impeccable property in Montreal

Apr 18th, 2019

Le Saint-Sulpice is such a special property, that I'm actually afraid to tell the world about it! Wonderful location in the heart of Old Montreal, with spectacular rooms and a totally responsive, receptive and incredibly helpful staff (especially Andrea @ front desk and Alain the concierge). The highest of recommendations for this property... My new favorite when in Montreal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Phenomenal customer service

Apr 15th, 2019

Stayed here for one night and I have to say I was really impressed. Booked a 1 bedroom King Suite which was beautiful. The bathroom looked like it had just been updated as it was spotless with gorgeous floors and a HUGE shower/bathtub. But the best part by far was the customer service. I was the only one checking in at the time that I did (around 5PM on a Saturday) and I was instantly greeted by all three employees behind the desk. All had big smiles and all were extremely friendly to me. Later that night, my friends and I asked them to call us a cab, which they promptly did. After waiting for about 5 minutes, one of the employees apologized for the wait and talked to us about how it was a busy night and a cab for 5 people may take slightly longer than usual, which I completely understood. After another 5 minutes had gone by, another of the employees said she would call the cab company to make sure they were going to be there ASAP. The cab company was slow to respond and so while they were on the phone, they brought each of my friends and myself a bottle of cold water while we waited and suggested that we might want to give Uber a try since it may be quicker. Note that I did not complain at all about the speed of the cab as we weren't in a rush - the employees were this generous to us completely on their own. My only suggestion to anyone who heads to this hotel is to try to check in and out at "non busy" times like we did. The street that the hotel is on gets busy and it is valet parking only, so there is often quite a bit of honking of horns coming from outside as people are told to pull their cars up onto the sidewalk while they wait. The valets are very quick, but the traffic in the area is often unavoidable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Turn down the turn-down

Apr 11th, 2019

I love evening turn down service in a nice hotel. I would otherwise consider this a lovely hotel but when I returned from an evening dinner the curtains were drawn but this is what my bed looked like. When I checked out the following morning I showed this picture to the desk agent who seemed genuinely distraught and promised to show it to his manager. Well, maybe you heard back from the manager, but I never did. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Well-appointed rooms in the heart of Old Montreal

Mar 31st, 2019

Our second stay at Le Saint Sulpice was a gem. Right in the heart of old Montréal. Right near Norte Dame and walking distance to the best restaurants and pubs in Old Montréal. Not far fro. The shopping and life of Catherine Street. Accommodating staff. Pet friendly ($50 Canadian fee). Will also valet park your car. Highly recommend as your launching point to explore this old French-influenced Port town. Due warning - roads and traffic are awful right now in Montreal so leave extra time to get there and to get around. Not affiliated with any hotel chain that we could tell so no points available but still worth it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
