Disappointed!

Mar 14th, 2020

Dated and old “Garden” room, although it was very clean. Severe carpet discoloration in room. Antiquated furnishings that are in disrepair. $15 additional for parking. Came for indoor pool and hot tub. Hot tub needs TLC. Tiles have cracks- more than average. Tower rooms are much nicer- many better options for same price in Salt Lake City. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Service

Mar 10th, 2020

It is a pretty hotel in a good location. The price seemed a little high compared to other hotels in the area, plus there was a $15/day parking fee (unusual in most Salt Lake City hotels). But parking was easy and the room was lovely and extremely spacious. I am prompted to write because of the staff. First my friend and I were given a room with one bed when we had asked for two, but the moment we called the front desk from the 'wrong' room, the problem was taken care of and they were somehow able to reprogram the key that moment so we didn't have to go back down to the lobby. The room was great, especially the bathroom, which happened to be accessible for wheelchair user. While I didn't need that feature this trip, I do when I travel with my husband and this was one of the best lay-outs I'd ever seen for a roll-in shower and all the adjacent amenities. Finally, I stupidly left my laptop in the room when I checked out. When I realized what I'd done, I called that Saturday night and housekeeping was very helpful, had my laptop, had an item number for me to give the person the next day. When I called Sunday, I was told I still had to wait one more day for the concierge to send me the laptop, but everyone was extremely helpful, reassuring, and competent and the next day, the concierge was marvelous. This was the perfect place to lose one's laptop -- haha. One added bonus: it is right by a free light rail line that transports you up and down Main Street -- very handy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A very nice stay

Mar 10th, 2020

I stayed here with a friend to attend a conference. The location is great. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. We ate at both the breakfast buffet and the coffee shop, and the food was reasonably priced and of good quality. I would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great property, room needs updating

Mar 9th, 2020

We stayed one night here before heading across the street to the Grand (same owners) to save some money for our anniversary weekend. The service was great at the desk and through the stay. The room: Good not great. Definitely needs a refresh. Like the Grand, the Little America is appointed in a classic American style, and rustic but comfortable. The bed wasn't as comfortable as I would have liked, but it was very clean. It's definitely time to renovate some rooms however. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to try the pool. Perfect for a group.

Mar 4th, 2020

I had a small family reunion here with my kids, and we had a blast. First, the hotel was very accommodating by having all of our rooms on the same floor, even though I booked the rooms on Expedia. We all stayed in the tower rooms, and they were perfect. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is across the street from The Grand, so we walked across the street to enjoy live music in The Grand's Lobby. In the morning, we ate at The Coffee Shop restaurant. The entire experience was easy and comfortable. We had a great night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
