Trip started as business and mixed in vacation. The hotel location is excellent with plenty of close by food choices as well as proximity to everything you need to see. Chief Concierge Celestino González and his staff assisted in everything from transportation to getting medical attention when my husband needed to receive treatment due to food reaction. President’s Day Weekend Get Away
Feb 18th, 2020
We came here for a weekend getaway from the US. Carmen was the front desk person and did an outstanding job helping us find a room we liked when we showed up. We were very picky, we booked the master suite room, and we found a room that we loved thanks to her and Jose after looking at multiple rooms. Jose also did a phenomenal job showing us around. He also got us tickets to a soccer game super last minute! Phenomenal service honestly have stayed in rooms with butlers at the top hotels and his service doing that was better than pretty much any other service request hotel staff have ever done for us considering he was not even a concierge and had to find physical tickets 90 mins pre-game time since Ticketmaster was closed. The room service guy was also excellent service wise. The room service food was not good so don’t recommend ordering room service. We sent back a big meal and they took it off the bill. Overall, service was fantastic. The room was outstanding. We are hotel snobs and stay at five and seven star hotels globally on a monthly basis. This place was phenomenal. Everything was new, ceilings were high, the restaurant/breakfast was great, the bathtub was excellent, TVs were huge, linens were very comfortable, and nothing seemed dated. They had all these small touches like tea sitting outside the elevators which was really nice. The place is a bit far from Mexico City which was inconvenient because we were on vacation but honestly we would do it again because it was just more comfortable. The rooms compared to the Regis and Four Seasons just seemed nicer and newer and without having visited them this hypothesis feels like it is still true after our visit here. If your considering booking the room then would go for it and say what’s up to Carmen and Jose when you visit! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great stay in Acqua
Feb 4th, 2020
My stay at Live Aqua was perfect, not one thing negative or needs improving. staff, room, breakfast, room service, restaurants etc, made up for the location in a business/financial district about forty-five minutes to the city center and historical attractions. The lobby and public areas in Live Aqua are just stunning! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
My week in Mexico City started here, and a perfect way to...

Start my trip... I have never stayed at a Live Aqua hotel/resort, thought they were an All-Inclusive beach group/chain of hotels... OMG was I wrong. Having traveled to Mexico City several times, usually staying near the Zona Rosa Neighborhood, but staying here showed me a Mexico City I had yet to explore. Live Aqua is in a predominately business/financial district, and the airport [at certain times] can take ninety minutes to get to/from, and about forty-five minutes to the city center and historical attractions. Enough said. When I arrived to The Live Aqua Hotel the entry is gorgeous with its tasteful circular stone driveway and beautiful understated and elegant fountain, I knew this was going to be sometime special. My early AM arrival didn't phase the warm and gracious staff and checked me in and allowed me to go straight to me suite, I booked a suite, it was not an upgrade, the early check-in was upgrade enough for me. The main lobby is something that is unimaginably gorgeous, high ceilings, opaque drapery, subtle grays, olive greens, browns and mauves in the sofas and club chairs, allows for pops of vibrant color to pop! Artwork on the walls are black & white photos hung way up high... making my arrival visually impressive. My room was located on high floor, unfortunately the view was high-rises, that was ok because the suite made up for it, big time, living-room, was inviting and comfy-cozy, the bedroom was spacious with a king size bed... OMG sumptuous to say the least. Now, the bathroom and what a bathroom indeed, double sinks, wood vanity, marble topped allowing generous counter space. The soaking tub was egg shaped and freestanding with floor mounted beautiful faucets, shower quite large with great water pressure, toilet was in a private frosted glass box, towels and robs extremely plush. All that gorgeousness was separated from the bedroom by a clear wall of glass with working wood blinds for privacy, traveling solo I kept them open allowing sunlight to shine in. There was also a large half bath off the foyer/living-room, not as gorgeous but tastefully done. I found coffee located each morning at my floors elevator, but I also had a Nespresso coffee maker with a box of jewel colored pods in the suite, but the elevator coffee was really good... and I think the only time ever, I've left a hotel room in a robe. My two night three day stay at Live Aqua was perfect, not one thing negative or needs improving, well other then its location, but as I said, the staff, suite, coffee, room service, restaurants etc... made up for the location.
