This hotel features great kids amenities
There is a resort fee tacked onto the daily room rate
Flanking Sabino Canyon in Tucson's upscale Catalina Foothills district, the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is home to 398 spacious guest rooms, each with its own balcony with sweeping desert mountain views — not to mention Keurig coffee makers, flat-screen TVs and minibars. But guests don't recommend spending too much time in your room: Many praise the resort for its two sprawling pools (one for adults only), as well as its Lakeside Spa + Fitness center. And thanks to two 18-hole PGA golf courses, multiple tennis courts and a scenic walking trail, you can experience the property's stunning environment and burn calories at the same time (which means you can indulge in all of the flavorful Southwestern cuisine you want at the Flying V Bar & Grill without feeling guilty).

Critic Reviews

The Loews Ventana Canyon Resort is located right at the foot of the Santa Catalina Mountains, and the views are terrific. Wildlife sightings are common, and there’s even a waterfall at the end of a nature trail.

Rooms, facing either the Catalinas or the golf course and city, are modern and elegantly furnished in muted earth tones and light woods; each bathroom has a miniature, flat-screen TV and a double-wide tub.

Travel + Leisure

At night, check out the view from the opulent Ventana Room restaurant; downtown Tucson positively sparkles.
