Our family of 8 (youngest is 18 years old) enjoyed a wonderful stay at this resort. The pool was wonderful and not crowded (COVID). The service was outstanding. Flying V restaurant was excellent, although otherwise the dining options onsite were minimal during COVID. The location was the selling point for me. Immediately at the base of the Santa Catalina mountains, you walk directly from the hotel to the Ventana Canyon trailhead, which offered excellent hiking. Also very close proximity to Sabina Canyon which offers hiking on a paved trail. The decor was dated, but the rooms were clean and offered luxury bedding and towels. An excellent and affordable alternative to Scottsdale. Generally, the guests were older families . . . there was not an abundance of young children. I hear that the Westin has more to offer younger families. If you don’t mind a bit dated decor (think brass railings), this is an excellent option for those who enjoy hiking and active pursuits (tennis and golf). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed just two nights visiting family for thanksgiving. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff was friendly in the very little interaction we had with them. Would of liked to have a way venting steam from shower/bath area though TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
This place never disappoints!

We stayed at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort for 8 days. From our friendly check-in with Emi and her occasional texts to check if we needed anything, to Majuma's helpfulness in housekeeping, to Michaela and Sapphire's friendly greetings, to Alex and Liam at the pool --- everyone we encountered had "helpful friendliness" attitudes. We always enjoy staying here when we visit our family members in Tucson. The resort was clean, the beds comfie, and the staff accommodating. We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Classic destination resort with beautiful views.

We only spent one night on a drive from Houston to San Diego. Outlets were limited due to COVID but the pool bar, fine-dining restaurant, and coffee stand were open and serving above average meals and drinks. COVID protocols followed faithfully. Hotel is showing some wear but rigorously maintained. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great rates and stay

Even during the pandemic this place did not disappoint. You walk into the lobby and everything was so clean and smelled wonderful. The pool area out back was so relaxing and even better, barely anyone was there. My husband loved the canyon course at the golf club. He golfed at three other locations during our stay in Tucson and this was his favorite. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
