Great vistas and completely equipped condo units but not walking distance to a lot of things

Mar 19th, 2020

The unit we stayed in was very clean but very 80's in decor. A full kitchen complete with a dishwasher and a lovely balcony which got morning sun. My husband loved seeing all the seabirds from the large windows. Cleaning staff was inconsistent in when they came but I think we were supposed to put out the cleaning notice on the door- that was never explained. The only beach was across the road and somewhat small but not overrun with people. There is no restaurant except Flippers which is not really the type of restaurant one finds in a hotel. There is no other restaurant or shopping within walking distance. For us, the location worked well as we visited people in Naples and Ft. Myers. The pool looks lovely but we never used it. On warm days it was filled by 10 am and on other days the wind came directly at it so it was unusable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pretty much a dump

Mar 8th, 2020

Pay close attention to the advice about each room being different. We were in 307 and it is very dated. We paid over $400 for one night and it was worth $150. The carpet is stained, white bathroom has yellow stains and kitchenette is out of the 50’s. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Spectacular View

Feb 25th, 2020

The most spectacular view of the bay and the gulf. There were floor to ceiling windows on two sides -- right on the bay. The views were amazing with gulls and pelicans flying right by our window. The 1 bedroom condo had a full kitchen, large bathroom with a jacuzzi, a balcony and living room . The front desk was helpful and the pool area is nice. There was also an uncrowded exercise room. A Week of Tropic Bliss

Feb 23rd, 2020

Had a great week long stay at Lovers Key Resort through AirBNB. Host was great and very organized so that the check in was like greased lightning. Great location, free parking in a fenced secured facility. Very nice grounds with its own beach, bbq pit, and a very nicely sized and well maintained pool. Most of the residents are retirees so it's a peaceful pleasant place. Immediately adjacent to State Park so beach combing and nature walks are a must. Endless beach. In the evening, a very quiet place. We had views of both sunrise and sunset from our balcony. Can't beat that. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This resort is beautiful. But you will only enjoy if you come off season. 14 story building has about 100 rooms, but only 50 parking spaces. Pool has seating for about 30, not nearly enough for 200 guests. If you are a sun lover, you wont see it at the pool until 2 in the afternoon, as the building blocks it.The front desk closes early, and doesnt open till 8 AM. No night security. 2 burgers and 2 beers at Flippers restaurant was 50 dollars. So we had a nice room with a beautiful view, but could not recommend this place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
