We do not have deals for this hotel.

We paid $225 a night thinking that was a pretty good price for the coast. We assumed wrong. The hotel had a great view of the ocean but that was it. The hotel is really beat up and not taken care of. The walls are paper thin, we had neighbors trying to hack up a lung until 12:30 at night. They are not practicing good Covid rules. The elevator was filthy and the sign basically said don’t touch anything. The place was very loud and not restful. We would not recommend it to anyone. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Good location, but cramped and dirty
May 10th, 2020
As nearly every review states, this place is in an excellent location. But that's probably the only thing keeping this property going. I understand if a property is a bit dated, but I don't think that this property has been renovated. Ever. It reminds me of the ghost town of Bodie, which is in "arrested decay". A splash of paint, a bit of plaster, and keep on renting the rooms out. Our August stay would not have been so bad if the room wasn't dusty and dirty overall. It needed a deep cleaning. If you don't mind a dirty Motel 6, then this will be just fine for you. We didn't expect 5-star luxury, we just wanted a clean place to stay. I found a nice, clean, bed and breakfast very close by for a more recent stay, for the same price as this property. If you're reading this on a web site, I'm sure you can find it. Basic hotel with quick beach access

The location is great. The view is good is you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The room is dated, the breakfast area substandard. Bicycle rental place across the street at beach. Not fancy, but price is reasonable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
NOT handicap or elderly friendly
Dec 30th, 2019
CONS: This is NOT a handicap friendly or elderly friendly establishment. My 84 year old mom had a hard time going up the 2 steps, which were about 12 inches each, to get into the office, and also to get to the first level where the elevator is. (No rails for help to get to the first level). There is a ramp at the far end where the handicap spaces are, to get to the first level, except there was a car parked there blocking it. We told the office, but they didn’t do anything about it. So, it was unusable. Also, an employee parked in one of the two handicap spots and had no handicap permit. When we first got into the room, the smell of bleach was so strong, we had to leave the door open and our room had a clogged toilet, so we told the desk, then we left and came back 4 1/2 hours later and it was still clogged. They handed my husband a plunger and he took care of it. Though they did give us a bottle of wine for our trouble. The bathroom is very small, so if you are a large person, it would be a tight fit. Our bed was as hard as a rock, but my mom’s was soft, and I used 2 pillows and they smashed down to the thickness of a piece of paper. Our deadbolt was broken, and the outlet in my moms room didn’t work. All in all, 2 rooms for 2 nights on a weekend was absolutely NOT worth the almost $800 bill. PROS: great location and the restaurant across the street (Beach House at Lovers Point) was amazing. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Hotel (not an Inn) is one block back from the water. While some rooms have a view of the ocean, this isn’t an ocean front hotel. The rooms with balconies only have views from the balcony or bathroom door. The office staff is friendly and nice. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
