Quiet, Elegant, Perfection
Dec 2nd, 2019
Ever wish you knew of a place to get away and just relax and clear out the daily clutter and all the things that distract you from achieving a quiet mind? This is that place. We've been back several times over the past few years and always want to stay. I even hesitate to review because I don't want to compete for access. Just, perfect. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We booked here at the last minute based on the good reviews and were disappointed and would not recommend this place to others. The Inn is lovely and our room was very nice. Breakfast was good. Two things brought down our rating. First, our room was never serviced during the day. For a place this expensive I at least expect the room to get serviced - bed made, garbage emptied, clean glasses etc..... When I raised this upon our return at 4:30 pm the person at the desk gave me a look like I was making a very unreasonable request. She then said that there was someone “displaced by the fire who could drive in to service our room”. Yes - make your guests feel bad for asking for standard services!! The other strange thing is that the place basically closes down at 5 pm. There is no one at the desk after this time and the front doors are locked. We were sitting on the front porch drinking some wine and watching the sunset and we were told we would need to walk around to the back to get in. The place is dead at night - no staff or guests to be seen. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Corkage fee was astronomical!!!!!
Oct 25th, 2019
First of all, we were told they could not seat us as the hostess said she could only seat people every 15 minutes which is something I have never heard of. We waited past our reservation time to be seated and there were many empty tables available. We brought our own special wine and the wait person opened it for us as asked. We ordered our meals and two of the three were good. The fried chicken was so crusty and hard that you could hear each bite our companion took. The cream pie we ordered for dessert was something else! The crust was so hard you absolutely could not cut it with a fork. When the bill arrived we found out that the corkage fee was $35 dollars a bottle which is outrageous! No other places that we have visited have ever charged that much! When asked about it, our wait person was less than cordial and just told us that it had always been that way! Well, they can keep it that way but when we left, we said we would never return when there are much better places in the area to dine. So, if you go there, steer clear of the fried chicken and their cream pies and be prepared to pay through the nose, if you take your own bottle of wine! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A Lovely Inn in Wine Country

On our recent visit to Healdsburg with my brother and his wife, the four of us stayed at Madrona Manor, about a mile or so from the center of town. We were impressed from the moment we drove up the hill to the imposing Victorian main building. Our rooms in the carriage house were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. They even had a night light in the bathroom, which is very helpful when you wake up in the middle of the night in a strange place. The staff is all very friendly and helpful and there is a very nice buffet breakfast in the main building in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant one of the nights during our stay and found our waiter to be attentive and knowledgable and the food excellent. I can recommend Madrona Manor without reservation if you're looking for someplace to stay in the vicinity of Healdsburg. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had an amazing time here at the Madrona Manor In. We stayed at the carriage house which was quite and our room was great. We loved our deck and the amazing views. The staff was friendly. The grounds around the Inn were so beautiful and they provide a lot of their vegetables for their dining options. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
