Luxury Hotel, check for last minute deals
Jul 31st, 2020
A busy hotel in the heart of downtown Denver - it was very fancy and with Hotwire, we were able to secure a really really good last-minute deal. They charge for parking, different rates for in and out privileges, versus leaving there for your stay. Upon entering, it was clear everyone in the hotel takes social distancing, and cleanliness very seriously. The bed was nice, the TV was huge above a well connected desk. While the lighting in the room could have been a little better, the bathroom lighting was spot-on. If I was an instagram influencer, the built in lighting in this bathroom would be worth whatever this room actually costs at a normal time. The wifi was good enough, though of course you can pay for better speeds. This seems meant for business folks, but it’s 2020 - fast WiFi capable of streaming or conference calls shouldn’t be extra for a hotel of this caliber. They have a limited number of mini-fridges you can request for your room; when we asked, they they didn’t have any available, but they kindly offered to let us store any perishables in the fridge behind the reception. If we found this great price again, I would definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Perfect little hotel

We stayed for combined of four nights. We first booked for two nights. We liked it so much we ended up booking an additional 2 more nights later in our trip. The hotel is really trying to do their part by : no housekeeping (but you can request anything from additional towels soaps etc and they are quick). Their valet service is also on hold (but there is a parking lot right next to the hotel). They also limit the number of people on the elevator. For us we wanted a hotel that could make our room and our car a safe zone. We are happy with the steps the hotel is taking In the first room it looked like the bathroom was not renovated. However super comfy bed and great pillow. It also has a super potent AC. The second round we got a more modern room and beautiful bathroom with just a shower. This time we had city view. Again linens and the mattress were super comfy We look forward to another visit in the future TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed at the magnolia hotel Denver over July 4th weekend, No room service, no clean towels, no nothing. We explained to Dana Daytime manger, about what we got for the price we had to spend.. she could have cared less... The service was horrible. Never again will we stay in a Marriott with there horrible customer service... yes you can still keep employees stay and also keep customers happy, but no they could have cared less, Fake smile while they basically say tough, or oh well your problem TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
What a wonderful hotel!

My niece reserved a room at this hotel for a couple days during our visit. Parking on the street is $1/hour. The parking garage is $20/24 hours. I guess it's not bad because it's one less worry having to keep moving your car and finding spots on the street. No matter what floor you park on, you still have to come down to first floor of garage then come outside and go through to front of hotel. Plus not all spots are open for hotel guests. Front doors were mostly locked and we just used our key cards. Elevators worked fast and are the original ones. We got a room close to the elevator on our floor which was nice. But not the best view. We were facing the inner part of the building which only showed the other rooms. But room was super nice. Very clean, spacious room. Gorgeous bathroom with like, the best shower ever. Beds were comfy and soft. Blankets needed updating though. Door had two locks. Windows had 2 nice shades that used pull-strings; one was solid, the other semi-sheer. Cable was confusing, so barely watched it. There's regular wall plugs and also phone charger plugs on the side of the desk facing the door. Lots of lighting and plugs throughout. They use a modern house style thermostat which was by the closet. Room included a coffeemaker, iron, safe, 2 robes, hairdryer, a table and chair set, desk and chair and 2 queen beds. The bathroom uses big bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash in containers fixed to the wall. There's a gym but it was closed due to the virus. Also have a room that had the ice maker, snack machines, a microwave and foosball table. It has one seating set. Food deliveries go to lobby. They have a restaurant which has yummy food but it's kind of expensive. I ordered truffle fries, and my niece got Cajun wings with regular fries. Nice sized portions. There's seating in the lobby and a nice sized room downstairs I assumed is for conventions or other events. The bathrooms down there are clean and pretty. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Staff is Amazing Even During a Pandemic

Magnolia was excellent to work with to schedule our wedding block, I had a great experience communicating with their team. Due to COVID-19 we were unable to use our block. The Magnolia team reached out to me immediately regarding the wedding block when there was a change. I cannot thank their team, Arielle and Kathryn enough! Even though we were not able to end up using the block, I would recommend them to my family and friends! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
