It was ok

Apr 17th, 2019

Rooms was too small, no space to place clothes. Furniture have no drawers. Hallway are very narrow and tend to trip with housekeeping carts and garbage. Place needs remodeling. Old building. This place needs more TLC. Restaurant was just ok. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This is the second time we stayed at Magnolia. Everything was great! The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The room was clean & nice and quiet. We enjoyed wine in the bar area. We will definitely be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great staff, friendly service.

This hotel is beautiful and relaxing. I felt like family as soon as I walked in the door. The staff would insist on helping in any way they could and even went above and beyond by making suggestions I hadn't even considered. The milk and cookies is a must as well. I tried to remember the names of the employees that helped me the most but all i could remember is Seleme, but I'd also like to mention the guy at front desk with the piercings and cool hair, as well as the entire staff with the valet. In all honesty the valet staff made my stay there the most memorable with their friendly faces and attention to detail. All in all. If I ever find myself in Denver again the only place I will stay is The Magnolia. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Staff made this hotel excellent

Apr 9th, 2019

First, the hotel itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. It is about a 15 minute walk from the hotel to Union Station where the trains run to and from Denver International Airport and all the busses to other cities and the suburbs. I booked only one night in order to attend a concert in nearby Broomfield. The real reason for this review is to givea huge kudos to Billy who was on the overnight desk. I got back to the hotel at midnight and realized that I would have to catch a train to the airport at 3:45 a.m. Concerned about walking alone at that hour, I decided to leave the hotel at 1 a.m. and stay at the airport. I got to Union Station 15 minutes after the last airport train left. I was going to stay in the train station, but instead found myself out on the street at 2 a.m. with nowhere to go and starting to panic. Never did it occur to me to even call a cab (I blame the thin air and my exhaustion), I went back to the hotel and when Billy saw me, he immediately understood the mess I had gotten myself into. He put me back in my room, scheduled a 3:30 a.m. wake up call and arranged for safe transport to Union Station in time to make the train and my flight. I was never more relieved that someone else took charge and showed such concern for my well being! I could not thank him enough and am so grateful that this hotel has such great people working there. Would stay there again any day.. but will not have such an early flight next time! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location

Apr 9th, 2019

This hotel is next to the 16th Street walking mall and has all of the standard hotel amenities, plus one - milk and fresh cookies at 8 pm in the lobby. Room was clean and comfortable, with a large shower instead of a shower over tub. Electrical outlets near the desk require getting on your knees to plug in your own devices. There are plugs next to the bed that are more accessible. Bar is small but the bartender on duty, Joshua, was friendly, knowledgeable about the area and had some great stories about life overseas. We would return to this establishment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
