Great Birthday experience

Jan 27th, 2020

My husband and I stayed at Maison 140 last weekend for my Birthday. I wanted to try Craft Restaurant in Century City for dinner and the hotel was very close to that location. I absolutely love a small boutique hotel as they are usually different and the staff is more intimate. I got exactly what I was hoping for. The parking lot being right next to the hotel is wonderful as you are not having to hike to get your car, wait for your car to be brought to you or constantly tip someone when you come and go. I thought the rooms were very spacious and the bathroom was huge. I booked the park and play option at the hotel for a little bit more and got paid parking and 2 free drinks. I had shared with the staff that I was dining at Craft for my birthday and when we got back to the room, I walked into chilled champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. When does that ever happen at a chain hotel? Of course being across from Starbucks really helps in the morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel and the staff was amazing. Can't wait to come back next year and repeat the whole experience. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Value for Location

Jan 25th, 2020

It was a great value when you compare to other hotel prices in the area! Used pool at sister hotel which was less than a block away. They have a small parking lot adjacent to hotel. Starbucks was less than a block away. Complimentary coffee in the morning. Gave a drink voucher that could be redeemed for wine/beer at either hotel property. Staff was very friendly & helpful. I’d definitely stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Looks like you get what you get.

Jan 20th, 2020

Full disclosure, I didn't stay here but I was checking it out for a family friend. The location is amazing but once you enter the lobby you see what you get. Looks like it was an old apartment building converted into a hotel that feels musty and tight. No central air with a small lounge area. If you are just looking for a place to stay, it's all good, but don't expect anything fancy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderful stay in BH

Jan 11th, 2020

Hotel was in a great location - Beverly Hills attractions (shopping, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Park, and restaurants) were all in walking distance. Cute, clean room. Was quite spacious. Wet helpful staff. Glass of wine at welcome. The only thing I wasn’t fond of was the urban bundle fee that is added each night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A little disappointing

Jan 7th, 2020

The hotel is very well located, in a beautiful building just across the street from Starbucks, and a few blocks from Rodeo Drive. The staff was generally friendly and helpful. However, I found the rooms rather cramped, the air conditioning was very loud, and the hotel had a rather strange smell—not especially bad, but strange. The decorations weren’t in very good condition, and the bathroom didn’t provide enough privacy for a family to use. The elevator was rather inefficient and funky to use. Additionally, the bar/lounge area left much to be desired, and room service was only available for a few hours on a few nights of the week. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
