Fun Birthday Trip!

Jan 23rd, 2020

Manchebo is a nice resort. The location on Eagle Beach is perfect, and you can walk long distances on the clean, deep white sand!! The restaurants, staff, pool and spa service were great! My only dissatisfaction was the room and bathroom which need to be updated. Overall, it was a great trip and I will likely go back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This place is highly rated and still exceeded all of my expectations. Well done Manchebo! We will be back and we can’t wait. While all the facilities and location are amazing, it’s the people that make this place truly special! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Paradise!!!

Manchebo Beach Resort was one of the best island resorts we have ever been to. My girlfriend and I traveled for her 25th birthday and every bit of the resort and the island were excellent. When we arrived we were greeted with two delicious mojitos, drinks we continued to enjoy throughout our vacation. We were taken to our rooms by the lovely staff and were blown away by our accommodations. We booked a regular guest room and to our surprise had a partial ocean view which was breathtaking! We also were surprised with a handmade bar of lavender soap and a bottle of champagne. The rest of our vacation only got better. The beach was outstanding- the best we have ever seen! The water crystal blue with very little seaweed. The beach huts were a nice touch and the Manchebo staff was great at towel and chair accommodations throughout. Shout out to Josuel who made every morning that much more pleasant. Next was Pega Pega the beach hut bar and grill. AMAZING. All the wait staff were so helpful and friendly and the food was very very good- fish tacos are a must. We didn’t get all the bartenders names but Junior, one of the them, made our last evening trip to the bar a great one! For the rest of the restaurants, not one left us disappointed. Ike’s was great for both breakfast and dinner and Chophouse made a great ribeye, coming from two New Yorkers. We did not choose to do the all inclusive plan due to the other dining options on the island but we would recommended visiting all the resort restaurants at least once! From the rooms and beaches to the housekeeping, bartenders, lobby staff and grounds keepers every aspect of Manchebo was perfect for us. It definitely attracts a bit of an older crowd but not once did we feel unwelcome or unappreciated. It was a truly great vacation!! Thank you Manchebo for making my girlfriend’s 25th birthday one to remember and we hope to be back with more family!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice getaway, beautiful beach

Jan 18th, 2020

This was our 4th visit to Aruba in the past 5 yrs. First and foremost, we love the island, the people, the beaches and the overall vibe. I will begin with the positives from our stay over Thanksgiving 2019 at Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. Positives: -The beach is lovely. Wide with plenty of space between cabanas. Water was perfect. Quiet and laid back, unlike the high-rise area we have stayed in the past. -The staff for the most part was friendly and accommodating. There were some exceptions please see below in negs. -The food and drink was good for us. We preferred some of the restaurants and bars more than others. The sushi restaurant was our favorite and Chef Mylene couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly! -Our room #37 was ok but needs some upgrades. View from deck was decent and maid service was very good. -Spa was nice and massage was excellent. -Transportation was readily available with several options. -The facility and grounds were clean and well maintained. Negatives: -Inconsistant service from some of the staff members. Good for the first few days then tapered off. -Two very rude and unprofessional hostess and host. Rebecca (edgy hostess) and Michael (rude SushI host) -The “all-inclusive” is not a true all-inclusive. There are exceptions you will pay for extra. -Staff seemed to cater more to returning guests. Shout outs to staff who we enjoyed: Fabian - Beach server (Favorite) Magnolia - Chop House server Fanny - Server Josephina - Maid Onis - Spa/Massage Aracelys - Server (Favorite) Jason - Server Thanksgiving Jordany - Sushi server (Favorite) Lucindia - Omelete lady We are considering other hotels in the area but will likely remain on this stretch of beach for reasons stated earlier in this review. Paradise!

My husband and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we come to Aruba. The staff is so friendly and they think of all the little extra things to make your stay special. The beach and hotel are both beautiful. Ignacio and Joshuel made happy hour every night so much fun. Can't recommend staying here enough! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
