Went with my daughter who is vegan for afternoon tea.The staff were so friendly and accommodating when I asked could we have one vegan and one none vegan they said no problem. My daughter was really impressed with her vegan food she said it was the best vegan afternoon tea she,d had.The hotel itself is very welcoming and the restaurant is cosy with lovely seating overlooking the river. Historical and yet modern

Jan 22nd, 2020

This is a beautiful hotel where the building is more than 100 years old. Yet, they have worked hard to keep the building modern historical where appropriate, and modern to meet the needs of today's travelers. Located within walking distance from the city center, it therefore provides good access to downtown Manchester. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. In fact, during my stay, they were renovating quite a lot of the rooms on the 4th floor. You can grab a nice English breakfast at the restaurant on the ground floor. And every afternoon from 1.30pm to 4pm, they also offer Afternoon tea at 19 GBP each. Only downside is that they do not have a gym within the hotel but compensate guests by providing access to a nearby full scale gym that is about 5 minutes by walking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely experience, Florin, the waiter is mint!! The hotel is a really nice place with very friendly staff. It’s the first time I’ve been but I will definitely be coming soon again. Our room is two floors with a nice view. Would recommend TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
