Mirror damage

Feb 26th, 2020

We valet parked my Ram pickup and the valet hit something and cracked the driver's side mirror. They comped the parking and said they'd contact me to get it fixed. 18 hours later, Luis Barrera called, drove up to Pompano Beach, and had the mirror replaced. The entire assembly, not just the glass mirror. Talk about first rate customer care, these guys are first rate. Thank you Luis!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Brittney is by far the best bartender/server we have come across on site. She has a fantastic personality and is very welcoming and great at what she does. The views are great and the staff is phenomenal. Highly recommended! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best Hotel in Hollywood Strip

Feb 24th, 2020

We planned a last minute trip over President’s weekend and we were really surprised by how nice the hotel was. Significantly more attractive than the Marriott. We were in 1401 (beachfront Queen) and found it perfect for three of us. Very nice, clean, modern, well appointed, etc. The rooms begin on the 11th floor and most have some ocean view (or a view west). Even the rooms that appeared the be “partial” ocean view looked ok. The hotel is in a U shape so many rooms look north/south but still have factional ocean views. Ours looked due East. Nice set up. The food options are ok and there are plenary of off-sites on the Boardwalk. Prices were not the typical resort gouging one might expect. Drinks were reasonable too. The odd pricing was at the beach where even though there were three of us, only 2 beach chairs are provided “free”. $12 for a third chair. They enforce a 30 minute rule at the beach and pool and that seems a bit stressful having to have someone visit our chairs every 30 minutes. The beach is a concession not part of the hotel, but they have some working arrangement. Bar service at the beach is ok but not frequent. Smoking seems to be allowed and a group of people have a huuka pipe in full use. Just bear in mind that the beach is very public. Live music in the bandshell was great. Arranging late checkout was a significant challenge. And, on check in our room was not ready until 4:30 or so. Only one hot tub. No hot tub at the adult pool?! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect for families

Feb 24th, 2020

We spent a night at the Margaritaville Hotel after our cruise on the Navigator of the Seas. Wow, wow, wow - it really is a lovely hotel, and only 50 minutes drive from Miami airport/ Miami port. We treated ourselves to an oceanfront room and were given room 1804 on the top floor. The views over Hollywood Beach and down towards Fort Lauderdale were absolutely stunning, both day and night. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed coffee and snacks from the coffee shop in the lobby. We had dinner at Landshark, the food was good but the best thing for us was listening to the band on stage on the Broadwalk, adjacent to the Flowrider. It was chilly so we ended up heading up to our room where we could easily hear the rest of the set. Bands play on Wednesdays to Sunday’s, from 7pm until 9pm. It was the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t kind to us, so we didn’t get much pool or beach time, but we loved the vibe of the hotel and hope to return again in the future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
