Let me start with the check-in which was exceptionally pleasant and smooth. The room which had a beautiful Nile view was so huge. I don’t know if that was an upgrade or if that’s the normal size because it was simply massive. I was surprised how huge this resort is. It isn’t a typical city hotel, more like the resorts in Sharm El Sheikh or even bigger. So keep in mind that if you will stay near the big pool, you will do a lot of walking to the reception and the restaurants. Breakfast is decent and has a lot of variety. There’s a well-equipped gym and a good spa too. Service in general is good and much better than what’s provided in the capital. The only downside was the temperature of the pools because they were freezing. I can imagine this being a huge plus in summer. There are multiple huge pools with stunning views. Do yourself a favor and use Careem which is a taxi app similar to Uber. It’s 10 times cheaper than regular taxis and will make your life easier. After being to so many different cities and countries, it’s getting hard to be impressed but at Jolie Ville Luxor, I was heavily impressed. Thank you, beautiful people! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Disappointing this time.

I've stayed at this hotel many times and whilst the beautiful location remains the same I can't say the same for the hotel. I have been here a week and so far the TV's throughout the hotel have not worked most of the time, it took 4 phone calls over 3 days to get the room fridge replaced for one that worked and the hot water disappeared for 48 hours. Food is limited, especially room service, and expensive. All the swimmimg pools are far too cold to actually use. There seems little point in paying for facilities which are unusable or don't work. The rooms could do with updating as they are starting to look tatty. Such a pity as it used to be a lovely hotel. If it were a 3 star hotel and priced accordingly I'd give it 3 stars but as an allegedly 4 star hotel it only deserves 2. Very disappointed this time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed here for a week with my husband and daughter and will never forget it. It is simple but beautiful. Staff friendly, food excellent, accommodation clean and well presented. Only thing I didn't approve of was the show put on for tourists included holding a live cobra (which was undoubtedly drugged from its reactions and would probably have had its teeth pulled) and the on site "zoo" who's inhabitants looked far from as well catered for as we were. It is beautifully secluded from the bustle of Luxor whilst still being very close for day trips to the museums and sites etc. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The best staff ever, amazing hotel for relaxing

I've stayed twice now in Jolie Ville Kings Island, May 2018 and now in October 2019. I love this hotel so much! The staff are the most friendly and welcoming of any hotel. Breakfast is the best I've ever had. Gardens are beautifully maintained. The place to come to relax, switch off from the world and enjoy nature. Thank you Jolie Ville, we'll be back soon!
