A Great Place!!

We stayed here once in August, and twice in September. Overall, all of our stays here have been amazing. This hotel is very COVID friendly. All of the staff members were always wearing masks, and every guest I’ve ever encountered here was wearing one as well. This overall was a very safe place to stay during the pandemic. The staff have always treated us like family, and made us feel right at home. All three stays we were on the 11th floor in rooms 1118 and 1120. Both rooms connect and were extremely well maintained. They had no odors or smells. The rooms have a king bed in each of them. The beds overall were definitely on the firmer side. I slept pretty good, but they definitely were super firm. Finally, I have to give a huge shoutout to the front office manager, Julie Stamm. Julie could not of been nicer to us, and treated us like family. She deserves a gold star for her wonderful hospitality. I couldn’t thank her enough for everything. Overall, this Marriott is an amazing place. It is extremely well maintained, and is extremely allergy friendly. There are no musty smells or odors throughout any part of this hotel. Everything is extremely well maintained. You will not be disappointed!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and this is our go-to hotel in the Indy area!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Best customer service for wedding rehearsal

Our son got married Oct 18th and the rehearsal dinner and many of the guests stayed at the hotel. Our rep Amanda gave us the best customer service and suggestions. everything was perfect. The food and drink service was excellent and the price was surprisingly competitive. We had a private room overlooking the lake and COVID precautions were taken with food and service. Birthday Celebration Made Special

To get away to celebrate my birthday during a pandemic, even for a night, was no easy task. But with a little help from the Marriott Indianapolis North, I had a great evening. I used the chat in the app to request extra pillows and a late check-out and mentioned I would be celebrating my birthday. To my surprise, when I arrived they gave me a room with a balcony and a view to the lake (who knew there was a lake?). An added bonus was that the restaurant we chose was less than 10 minutes away and there were back roads we could use for easy access. I recently stayed in the Marriott Indianapolis North and found that in the name of Covid-19 protection the management has eliminated many of the amenities. The in room coffee service is no more. Being a Marriott Bonvoy Lifetime Titanium member typically comes with a breakfast perk in a lounge, or at the hotel restaurant. Marriott spells out that if this is not available or an alternative offer the guest should be provided $100 compensation. The hotel management says that due to Covid that have unilaterally suspended this benefit. The restaurant is closed in the morning for breakfast they say due to Covid, but in the afternoon the bar and restaurant are considered safe enough to be open. In talking to a manager I was told that the closed in the morning in order to reduce the amount of staff needed. There is not even a way to secure a cup of coffee or tea in the morning inside of the hotel. The hotel remains clean. There are numerous signs about social distancing. Example is that only two people are permitted in an elevator, but while on the elevator with my wife a safe member got on the elevator with us when the car stopped at an intermediate floor. The staff member was wearing a mask, but her nose was outside of the mask. Again a generally clean hotel, generally great staff, but management has removed the amenities that make a first class hotel special. Thus, the pluses are clean, great location and staff, on the negative side is the lack of the finishing touches that make a special place of accommodation. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The employees at the Marriott North were very personable and eager to help, the cleanliness of the hotel which is very important to us was very well done. Our room was comfortable and nice, but when we took our showers in the morning we had cold water. And there was an hour and a half difference on shower times. We did not like the sliding door to the bathroom. I was very disappointed they did not have it outside pool, but we enjoyed the sitting area that they had out by the lake. Overall I would say they are a 3* again very disappointed that we had to take cold showers. Will not stay there again too many nice hotels in the area, for the price we could have found something much nicer!!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
