great conference hotel

Apr 27th, 2020

stayed here for a conference, ideal location right by gaslamp district close walk to many restaurants in the area. Restaurant options in the hotel as well. They also have a deli where you can grab and go. the rooms were clean and large. great views of the marina. walk out to marina side was not easy to find and lead you to a parking lot. would be nice to have a direct exit to the marina boardwalk side. Overall the staff were great, a nice young lady helped me out a lot during check out and holding my luggage. everything was quite easy. Cabs were easy to get from front, staff was very nice. Perfect Location with great views

Walking distance to the water, Seaport Village, Gaslamp District, and right next door to the convention center. Great views from the rooms. No necessarily luxurious, but very nice and excellent service. Does have parking and resort fees per night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Horrible stay due to horrible staff

Mar 9th, 2020

Booked hotel a few months in advance of a convention I was attending and received an excellent rate. As a lifetime Titanium Member, I checked in with my phone app and sent a message requesting any kind of upgraded room possible. They acknowledged my request and when I arrived, they had me in two double beds "on a high floor", next to the elevators. I told them my profile has king bed in it and away from elevators, and they said they were sold out of king beds. I went to my room and it was sad, with the chair up against the same wall as the TV, so the only way to watch TV was to sit/lay in bed, ugh! I sent a message to the hotel that I was unhappy, especially as a lifetime Titanium Member, and a member since 1986. Their response was since I got such a low rate ($193/night - low??), that was the best I was going to get. Unbelivable. The fitness center was good, but the M Club lounge only offered carbs (pasta) at night. Sent message to Marriott Corporate (very thin client) and they said hotel manager would get back to me withing 3-5 business days. No word from anyone (surprise!). TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Professional Speaker

We loved this hotel. The access to venues along the marina walkway was great. Hotel restaurants were a little pricey, but good. The hotel had a pickup spot for your all over the city. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location

Mar 7th, 2020

Great staff from the time we arrived to check out. The location is wonderful, within walking distance to many great options. The pool area is gorgeous and a little chilly. Looking forward to next visit and stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
