Hotel nice, management non-responsive

Mar 21st, 2020

Cannot get them to even return a call or email about an item left in the room - contacted them immediately (within hours) and a week later they cannot be bothered to respond. Not a big deal, costs me about $50 to replace, but I would never stay here again based simply on their lack of caring and response TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Superb!

Special shout-out to Deborah at the front desk! She is friendly, professional and goes out of her way to make sure guests are welcomed to the hotel. It makes me want to return to this location in the near future - which I will! Marriott should no doubt be proud to have her on their staff. The hotel itself is modern, comfortable and clean and has all of the amenities which provide for a most pleasant stay! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing hotel reinvention.

Feb 12th, 2020

This is truly a transformation of an already great hotel. The lobby, restaurant, lounge and courtyard is a masterpiece. The open, modern space has really changed the entire arrival experience. Same great team with fanatatsic hospitality in a new space. Whenever travels bring me to the Triangle this is the place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So far my favorite in the area

Jan 3rd, 2020

I've stayed in a few hotels in the area and I think this one is my favorite. First day I was a little apprehensive because I felt like my room preference wasn't met when I first reserved the room. I asked for a king size bed and I was given a double. I had to go back down and switch it out. The staff at 4 pm isn't very friendly. The bartender was a little weird. Construction to the lobby was still going on Still confused if he was nice or not. I think he just had a different personality. I almost regretted staying their. Everything changed in the morning. The staff in the morning was so much friendlier. Especially the gentleman who drove the shuttle. I believe his name was Buddy. He was so kind. The bed was really comfortable and the room was nice and clean. My stay became more pleasant. I was able to have a nice work out at the gym. I think coffee in the lobby would have made it complete. This was my 3rd hotel in the area. So far it's one I wouldn't mind coming back to. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nicely updated hotel, great service

Dec 12th, 2019

We stayed here for four nights while visiting family. The rooms have been updated to the newer Marriott style and is very nice. The lobby was in the process of being renovated, but wasn't an issue. The only irritation was that the Concierge Lounge was not open over the weekend. As a Titanium Member, we were provided breakfast in the restaurant area but I would not pay the high price for the breakfast otherwise. We would stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
