Our Favourite Place to Stay In Boston!

Jan 13th, 2020

After 35 years and 40-50 visits to Boston this is our favourite hotel in Boston for several reasons. The location is second to none being right beside Quincey Market, my husband's favourite place in the city. No visit is complete without strolling the market. You are a 5 minute walk to every type of dining from quick service to the city's best 5-star and 2 minutes from the scenic waterfront. The hotel is spotlessly clean with loads of character. The rooms are large and all condo-style (only 4 per floor) with king master bedroom, full bath with tub/shower and large open concept living room/dining room/ kitchen. We enjoy lunch and dinner out but the kitchen is convenient if you wish to have breakfast or a snack in your room. The rooms are stylishly furnished, high ceilings and very bright with plenty of natural sunlight. Being a 'Pulse' hotel there are several behind the scenes Boston organized activities you can book which are fun and educational for either a minimal fee but many are free. From the observatory, look-out on the top you can see for miles and can view from inside or step outside. They have children's playrooms, washers/dryers, pool tables and their own small movie theatre complete with popcorn playing the latest releases. The staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. We've stayed at the best 6 hotels in the city over the years but feel most at home at Custom House for the above reasons. Highly recommend it! Please note that there is no restaurant here but an attractive concierge lounge with fireplace and bar serving breakfast and snacks throughout the day and evening. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The best location in downtown Boston!!!

Jan 3rd, 2020

This is by far the best place to stay in downtown Boston! The staff and location are the absolute best that you would ever think of or want in Boston. We travel a lot and I would say this is only place where the customer service that you receive is beyond top-notch. When you have questions and need some guidance or direction and go to the front desk before you finish your question rest a sure the person waiting on you at the counter is either already on the phone or looking on the Internet to get you an answer! Barbara, Tori, and Karen are the best! Actually everybody that works at the front desk at this resort is focused on commitment to their customers and I wish I could remember everybody’s name but I currently cannot. Christine - we are sorry that we missed you on this trip but we hope you had a great vacation! See you soon ! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Christmas Vacation in Boston

Dec 30th, 2019

This hotel is perfectly located right by Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall and the Blink Holiday tree! Tons of shops and restaurants and walk to Aquarium and North End Italian restaurants. Rooms are large and very clean. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Great for families, couples too. Would return again!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An amazing hotel

Dec 30th, 2019

The hotel location was perfect for the hold, just in the centre of the city and near to lots of good restaurants. The suite was amazing, duplex with all comforts catered for. The downstairs room had a small kitchen together with a comfortable sofa and a table and chairs. Upstairs had a comfortable bedroom and storage for clothes. The hotel interior was stunning with white marble columns and an amazing stain glass roof window. The hotel roof had a viewing platform offering a 360 degree view of Boston. A Perfect stay for am amazing holiday. The only downside was we would have loved to stay longer. Thanks to all for a brilliant holiday. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A view that will take your breath away

Dec 30th, 2019

Having lived in Boston my whole long life, I have yet to stay at the Custom House. We were on the 18th floor and had a sweeping view of Faneuil Hall, waterfront and over to Revere and Charlestown. It was the lull week between Christmas and the New Year. What a time to be in Boston. We lucked out with the weather. Caught a comedy show and a later dinner in the North End. Great way to use MVC points that we would have lost. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
