Beautiful property and grounds

Apr 22nd, 2020

I have wanted to stay here for years, but because of the size it's very hard to get into. Eventually, they will be expanding but not sure when that is planned for. We were in a 2 bedroom lock off in the Palermo building on the top floor. Great view of the JW Marriott and golf course. We had 2 balconies, one only having a pergola as sun protection, and we had full sun late in the day. The rooms were a bit smaller than other lock offs were used to. The smaller side would definitely be cramped for our family of 3. The pool area was very nice and unique. We also used the very large pool at the JW. Was a bit of a hassle getting keys to work for their gate but got it settled after a few days. I enjoyed the property (interior corridors were a plus) if not maybe for the location, which really isn't bad, just not what i'm used to, i'd probably give 5 stars. I've stayed at all other Marriott's in Orlando and own at Sheraton Vistana Villages so those are my comparisons. This is a great choice if you'd like something a bit smaller. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Rest and Relaxation.

Mar 21st, 2020

Went for a week of R&R. Had a great time. Grounds were clean and the pool awesome. The pool had perfect temperature. Skids were fun for all. Shout out to Lifeguard Jonathon who make my little guy feel special. This place is nice. Enjoy! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Misled and suckered

Mar 13th, 2020

We are currently vacationing here. Last month, we called the property’s concierge desk to arrange park tickets for Universal and Islands of Adventure. Barbara could not have been happier to help us get what we wanted. She was also happy to suggest $300 off the tickets for attending yet another Marriott presentation. I took her up on the deal. Upon arrival to the park on our 2nd day in Orlando, we found out we had to pay extra on three of the tickets at the gate! We then later found out that the early park admission that Barbara sold us as part of our wonderful package was not available on the day promised! In fact, an Islands of Adventure agent told us that the tickets we had purchased from Barbara with the so called early park admission to Islands of Adventure had not been available since LAST SUMMER!! So, buyer beware. Marriott suckered us again. Very incompetent and dishonest. We are owners and are not happy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

My wife and I stayed here in January 2020. During our visit, we played golf at the Ritz’s excellent golf course. On the days we did not play golf, we enjoyed the beautiful pool at Lakeshore Reserve; complete with a Lazy River. As a Marriott Vacation Club Chairman, we will definitely return next year. Great Vacation in Orlando

Mar 1st, 2020

This is the premier vacation resort by Marriott in Orlando. It is part of Marriott's Grande Lakes complex which includes the JW Marriott, Ritz Carlton, top golf course and the Lakeshore Reserve. As a guest of the Lakeshore Reserve you have access to the facilities (pools, lazy river etc) at the JW and Ritz. At the Lakeshore Reserve we were fortunate to exchange in through Interval International for 1 week (spring 2019) and 2 weeks (fall 2019). When an opportunity comes up on Interval take it right away if it fits your vacation timing. Lakeshore has a lazy river, water slide and all kinds of programs ie aquafit, kids programs in rec centre etc. Well worth a vacation stay at the Lakeshore Reserve. We are looking forward to our April, 2020 stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
