Excellent Stay at Marriott’s Summit Watch

Jun 30th, 2020

Just returned home after a two week stay at the Summit Watch in Park City, Utah. If you have never been I totally recommend it! Location of the property is perfect, Close to many nice restaurants and unlimited shopping. Also within walking distance to the bus stop, making it easy to get to the grocery store. Staff Members were helpful, kind and responsive to all my requests throughout my stay. Many thanks to Amber, for resolving a particularly difficult Issue, I sincerely appreciate your help. Matt at the front desk was amazing, giving perfect directions and assistance. Also, my appreciation to Katie Quad, the Front Office Manager. Richardo Reid thoughtfully answered my numerous questions during both check in and check out. Thank you Richardo for all your help and advice. The entire front desk staff does an excellent job. In addition, I wish to recognize Tyler Pacheco, Director of Services, for all his outstanding consideration during my stay. Tyler, I know you and your team go above and beyond every day, an I wish to recognize that. Please give your staff member, Graciela De Haro my best, she does a lovely job at helping to keep everyone, including me, happy. Looking forward to returning to Marriott’s Summit Watch next spring. All the best to everyone. J G Swanson TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Ski Week

Feb 12th, 2020

I adore this resort. We had the full two-bed/2-bath unit with full kitchen and washer dryer. Great front desk help, a short walk to the ski life, with free valet for skis. My family of 4 (kids aged 9/13), could walk to dinner. But what we love to do is stop off at the grocery store in our way in for our own snacks and drinks. We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and love it every visit. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Walk to ski lift🥰

Feb 7th, 2020

This was great. Awesome, large condo. Nicely decorated. Elevators so no steps if you didn’t want to. Front desk and other employees were very friendly. Had a smell in condo when first checked in. They apologized and comped us a bottle of wine. Very nice. We went to go skiing, and ski we did! Walked less than a block , across the bridge over Main Street, picked up your skis at the ski rental place, were you could leave your skis and poles over night FREE as a Marriott guest. AWESOME 😎! 20 steps. Put on your skis and onto the lift you went! Amazing! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Resort is great. Ownership is a rip off.

Feb 6th, 2020

I have had a deeded ownership of one week at this resort for 20 some odd years. They have distributed and oversold these units. I called at 9 o’clock (inventory opens at 9 o’clock. I was also online at the same time. I actually was online at 9 o’clock and there was already no availability on the dates That was supposed to come in to inventory that morning. I also was lucky enough to have them pick up the phone at 9:01 and the dates were gone. Same thing happened last year for a high value week. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Much better lodging elsewhere in Park City for the money

Feb 3rd, 2020

We go to Park City every year for skiing and have stayed at a variety of properties. This was by far the worst. We stayed here because I am 10 years platinum with Marriott and wanted the night credits...not worth it. Pros: Location is fantastic, it's right on main street so you can walk to everything main street has to offer. Free on-site parking garage. 7 minute drive to Deer Valley. Clean and seems new. Cons: The absolute most uncomfortable bed in a hotel room I can remember. Seriously, no sleep. The room is tiny and cramped - we had my 2 toddlers with us and were constantly in each other's way. Zero amenities - no shuttle service to the slopes or nearby restaurants/shopping, no breakfast (not even if you wanted to pay for it), no help with luggage, no place to store skis in the room (in fact, no place to put much of anything in the room). For the price we paid (nearly $600 a night) there is FAR superior lodging elsewhere in town that offers great amenities, a large room with kitchen, a shuttle, breakfast included, etc. We will not be coming back.
