Perfectly located, charming hotel

Jul 16th, 2019

It's fun to get away from the chain hotels and step back into a hotel with character. The rooms are not huge, particularly the corner I saw in, however it was very comfortable. Great linens, a nice bathtub, mini fridge, coffee maker and water in the room. Internet wasn't an additional charge and I love getting the newspaper in the morning. The hotel is located within walking distance of all the major Seattle sites: Pike, Space Needle, and the Aquarium. Or, you could walk across the street to shopping. Great restaurants are within walking distance or visit the one directly in the hotel. I will definitely be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Enjoyed Our Stay

Jul 14th, 2019

We stayed here 2 days prior to an Alaskan cruise. A+ in every way. Everyone from the front desk, bellhops, maid service and concierge were excellent. Robert, the concierge was very helpful and professional. He arranged our transportation to the pier the morning of our cruise. The room was clean, quiet and spacious. The hotel is perfectly located to shopping nearby like Macy's and Nordstrom's as well as Starbucks and other places. We walked down to Pike Place Market both days without any problems. We had breakfast in the hotel's restaurant. My omelet was one of the best I have ever eaten. Great meal and service! I loved the historical décor and the fact that it is connected to a great little shopping mall and the monorail connection for going over to the Space Needle. Awesome stay! I cannot say enough about this hotel. First rate! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A great central location, next to the light railway and the monorail, and only a 5 minute walk to Pike Place Market.

Stayed in a deluxe double on the 2nd floor and the room was huge with loads of storage. Then stayed in a suite on the 12th floor which was on a corner and had two bathrooms and a separate living room. Both were excellent. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location

If you like to walk, like I do, this hotel is beyond convenient to everything. Within a 5-minute walk you are at Pike's Place, 30 minutes you are a TMobile Park in one direction and 20 minutes you are at the Space Needle. And the train to SeaTac is right around the corner and also helpful if you don't want to walk. Jane and Robert - concierge - were very helpful on if my thoughts were good or how they would suggest restructuring my day. Also, gave me some lovely tips and places to eat when I said what I was looking for. The front desk staff also took care of a slight Wi-Fi issue I had in under 5 seconds. Impeccable service. I had a VERY comfortable deluxe queen room, great space including sitting area and a very comfortable bed. It was extremely nice to have 2 bottles of water each day and newspaper delivery. Do note that if you are a light sleeper you will want to be on a higher floor. I was on the 10th floor and could hear some of the noise outside. I would highly recommend staying here again.
