Breakfast don't bother, rooms need to be dusted.

But unfortunately, we did not enjoy our stay here. Your staff are defiantly lovely! We didn't have an issue with them as they were more than helpful. Day 1 - No hot water, shampoo and conditioner were used from people in the room before us, no sugar or tea plus the room is very dusty specially above the window my partner's sinus played up the whole weekend. Day 2 - Due to Covid19 having no restaurants open we are required to order room service which is fine, but the phone went to message bank when we called the kitchen, went down stairs and ordered from reception she was more than helpful. Our food came with wooden utensils, we both had eggs Benedict which the muffin was that hard while cutting the muffin our folks both snapped, we had to use our fingers to eat. Day 3 - again an issue with ordering breakfast, rang the restaurant/ kitchen the lady answered and said do you mind holding for a minute. No that's fine I said. 15 minutes later I was still waiting, at this time I'm not impressed i go down and order from reception again. returned to the room and waited an hour still no breakfast came. We decided to leave and check out of the hotel. The receptionist was so apologetic she compensated us for our parking. We were very disappointed, especially when we paid for the room with breakfast and after reading the reviews, we were expecting better conditions of the rooms. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Staff

I just wanted to say that the team at Mercure Brisbane are wonderful and go above and beyond in their efforts to help and please their guests. Nothing is a hassle. Fantastic communication via email and phone also. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Service

From the moment we walked in the hotel Jamie was so helpful. We were early and that was no problem. A room was nearly ready and we were given a lovely spacious room. Asked us what we had planned, and ensured we knew where to go. Breakfast an excellent menu choice, everything you would need in a breakfast And a relaxing environment. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cheap but tired

Wasn’t expecting a fabulous room given the price and age of this hotel, but the room is definitely more tired than it needs to be. A bit of fresh paint wouldn’t go astray! Buffet breakfast was sub par. And be aware the carpark is very low. There are probably better options at this price point, I wouldn’t return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

rooms smelt musty, had to change rooms during 4 night stay due to toilet issue, parking offsite not good and expensive, bathrooms small and showers tidy with mould in tile grout, windows in riverview rooms very dirty. location is biggest asset TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
