Welcoming and beautifully presented hotel. Worth ever penny.

Aug 25th, 2020

Although not in the very heart of the city, it was an easy walk to some of the local sites, palaces and museums. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in a quiet street. All the members of staff we met were welcoming, exceptionally polite and professional. Nothing was took much trouble. The room was beautifully decorated and set out, clean and with various ameneties. Bed very comfortable. The seating area in a beautiful courtyard was an ideal place to have a quiet drink. All in all a perfect stay. The staff spoke German and English without a problem that we know of. Although the check - in and out was not contactless, distancing is well maintained and as you check in to sign the registration form you are provided with a sealed pen which is then yours to keep. No individual toiletries are provided but liquid soap was plentiful. There are garaging facilities. We used Airport Driver Taxis which booked in advance and cost us 34 euros each way. Elegant small hotel in excellent location

Aug 25th, 2020

This is a delightful hotel, small enough to be characterful but large enough to be convenient. Beautiful classical facade, tastefully furnished rooms, gracious staff, and a superb location. Also excellent value - I would expect to pay twice this for a hotel of this standard. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Long weekend in Vienna

Aug 5th, 2020

It was a lovely stay in quiet area of Vienna but still close to many local attractions and museums. The room was very stylish and comfortable and the price very reasonable for this district. Will surely come back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cosy decorated Austrian Hotel

Jun 8th, 2020

Stayed here in this warm and beautifully decorated Austrian hotel over the Christmas period. The room had a number of amenities to use, however was a lot smaller (Standard Room (Wiener Klassik)) than it looked like in the pictures (recommend looking at the floor plan/size guide) before booking. In addition, the walls of the rooms are very very thin, you can hear people in 3-4 rooms down the hall. Though the major benefit of this hotel was the close proximity to the Rathaus city hall (6-7 minute walk from the hotel), which is arguably one of the best Christmas markets in Vienna. A tram stop is located 2 minutes walk from the hotel and the train station - Volkstheater is about 7-8 minute walk (the train station nearby Rathaus doesn't take you to many of the main city attractions). Additionally, the hotel has a nicely secluded room in the lobby (first-come-first serve) that allows guests to relax and have a drink with each other. Definitely one of the highlights if you are travelling with a medium sized family (5-6 people) and can't all fit in one room. The staff were also very nice and provided a number of sturdy umbrellas in the case of rain. Overall, a great hotel tucked away and close to the main Christmas market in Vienna and within distance of public transport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Wonderfully Chic Hotel

Mar 12th, 2020

Stayed from the 20th to the 23rd of February, got a room in their Art Nouveau building. Impressive! Front desk staff very nice and helpful, got upgraded to a really beautiful room - on the smallish side, but so chic and wonderful, with Gustav Klimt-inspired decor - very tasteful and stylish. Bed very comfy, toilet and esp the shower stall so nicely done. Main entrance located along a quiet side street but which opens into the main thoroughfares close to the City Hall and a lot of other big buildings. Vienna being quite a large city though, we found ourselves using Uber quite frequently to get to the other tourist spots, but they weren't that far away still. Could have explored by tram actually. Hotel also conveniently close to 2 or 3 grocery stores for purchases of essentials. Highly recommended!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
