Room rates do not cover daily resort fee and valet parking
Providing a residential feel for South Beach travelers just passing through, the Metropole South Beach offers an opportune location. Surrounded by the shops and restaurants on Collins Avenue and only a block away from Ocean Drive and the beach, the Metropole is convenient for vacationers who want to fully experience the Miami Beach scene. You won't find an on-site restaurant here, but the Metropole's location makes it easy to reach popular Miami Beach eateries. However, noise can be a problem; recent guests recommend reserving a room overlooking the courtyard instead of the street. The fully equipped suites include iPod docking stations, 42-inch flat-screen TVs, Kohler rain showers and free Wi-Fi access (covered by the daily resort fee). A kitchen, a dining area and one or two bedrooms are also provided in each accommodation. Previous visitors noted that on-site parking can get expensive; save some money by leaving your car in the public lot a few blocks away.

Relaxed and private (rare for South Beach), the Metropole draws families and low-key groups to a quieter, shopping-focused street one block away from the beachside party scene. Well-equipped apartment-style rooms come with full kitchens and private bedrooms, though they're showing some minor wear.
