Great place to dine and for special occasions.

I have been to the Millennium Biltmore on several occasions. It is an extraordinary place and exceptionally iconic. The dining experience is par excellence - whether in their main floor bar area or for a special event. The staff is very kind and helpful. One tip- be sure to get parking validated if for an event or as a guest. It can be pricey. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
July 2020 visit

I travel as a cruise ship nurse for Holland America and have visited many castles and hotels with lavish designs and unbelievable architectural creations and this hotel is nothing short of that. It reminded me of the Palace of Versailles in France for its rich colors, decorations and large presence. It is absolutely stunning with several halls displaying portraits of Highwood Gallas and actors in their Heyday throughout the hotel. The pool looks like something mythical from Greece. It is huge with mythical creatures carved along the borders of the ceilings. The exercise room is huge and the dressing rooms lavish. We stayed in the Executive Suite - absolutely exquisite in design and unbelievable in size. My daughter said it was like staying in an apartment because it was just so huge. We rendezvoused with family there and everybody was able to eat in the dining / living room portion with ample room for the children to run around and play. The front desk and dining room personnel were extremely professional, courteous and helpful the entire time we were there. I will forever and always stay at this hotel every time I come to Los Angeles. It was such a unique experience and one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been in– certainly the largest. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, stunning beauty, accommodations and central location to all things in Los Angeles. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Stepping back into the glamorous age of Los Angeles/Hollywood history
Jul 2nd, 2020
I love this place and keep coming back. I recently stayed here for almost a week. If you like the glamorous history of early Los Angeles, this is the place to be. It’s the classic elegant downtown hotel. The rooms are smaller because of the era it was built, but the lobby, the Rendezvous Court, the grand hall, all the ballrooms, etc., are amazing. I never get tired of them. The photos from the Golden Age of Hollywood and its history with the Oscars here are amazing. The staff is great. Christine, Robert, and Nick helped with anything I needed. The bar and staff are great too, some have been there for many years and can tell stories of serving Clint Eastwood and many others. It’s fun to be in a place where you suddenly recall a movie scene shot right where you are sitting. It’s an easy walk from here to Broadway with more great L.A. history such as the Grand Central Market, Clifton’s, the Arcade Building with amazing tacos/gelato/etc., the classic old theaters, the Bradbury Building, Biddy Mason memorial, etc. It’s the heart of Los Angeles. Outside Grand Central Market’s Hill Street entrance is the Angel’s Flight funicular train up Bunker Hill. For one dollar you can take the train up Bunker Hill, walk to Grand Ave. and back down to the Biltmore. When sitting in the Rendezvous Court with its beautiful Moorish Alhambra style ceiling, fountain, and calm serenity, it’s the place to be. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Dirty and Zero Customer Service

The hotel atrium is beautiful and the history of the building is fascinating, but the hotel staff and room cleanliness was beyond subpar. First, I booked a room to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday and called ahead to request an amenity be sent ahead to help us celebrate. I was told amenities were suspended due to COVID-19. I thought, "Okay....well, maybe they will at least acknowledge her upon check-in." Not only did they not acknowledge her birthday, the front desk agent didn't even acknowledge us! We walked in all smiles, said a friendly "Hello!" and were greeted with, "Give me your ID." So, I handed her my ID and stood silently by while she went into the system to check our reservation. Not a signle word was exchanged again until she said, "Credit Card' and pointed to the pinpad where I was to insert my card. It beeped, I removed my card, she put the keys on the counter and said "1019". That was it. No explanation about lack of services or amenities due to COVID, no questions about our stay or if we had any questions or concerns, no acknowledgment of the special occasion, no information about the hotel, the area we were staying in, what was open, what was closed...nothing. So, we realized we were completely on our own to figure this place out. When we got to our room, the first thing we noticed was the canopy of drapes directly over the head pillows on the bed. My girlfriend was curious, so she took hold of one of the drapes and a giant pile of dirt and dust feel from the drapes onto the bed!! Disgusting! We removed the pillows that were now soiled, and realized we needed to make our own fun outside of the room and hotel. We did our own exploring around the hotel for a minute, and then managed to find our way over to Grand Central Market to grab something to eat. This was the highlight of our trip. We went back to the hotel and slept soundly through the night. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, there was a coffee machine in our room for the morning, and the tv worked fine. In the morning during checkout, a new front desk agent was there and gave me the exact same amount of service as I received upon check-in. Go figure. We couldn't wait to get out of there, so the only plus side to the lack of customer service was that it expedited our exit from the Millennium Biltmore hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Well first of all, the hotel lobby is so marvelous, second of all, i felt so welcomed by the staff at the front desk, i believe her name was Christine, she was so nice and understanding. The location of the hotel is right in the middle of everything in downtown LA and pershing square is just steps away, gym and pool are nice and up to date and clean. the room was very comfortable with a nice view. Definitely coming back:) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
