Beautiful Views!

Jul 10th, 2019

We stayed on the "8th" floor for this trip (it's not actually on the 8th floor, that's the just the name) and it was just as perfect as our other visits. A gorgeous view of the lake and a beautiful room! With our sliders open we could hear the music coming from "Songs at Mirror Lake" concert series down the street without having to brave the crowds which was nice. Although walking the streets and poking in the shops is half the fun of staying there! When you enter your room they have soft music playing to welcome you and set the tone of relaxation and walking thru the Inn itself is always quiet and gives you a definite feeling of peace. We enjoyed the large indoor hot tub and the pool during our stay as well! Given any opportunity I will stay here again and again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Summer vacation

Jul 7th, 2019

This is a beautiful property at an incredible location in walking distance to a cute town. I wasn't blown away by the service, however and at the cost per night I think there could have been more effort made for a true luxury feel. It was not that, but again, the location and the lake made it all worth it. Just do not expect luxury or even a concierge or anyone asking you how your day is--it is super quiet and barely see the staff so you are really on your own. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

MlI continues their excellence

Jul 7th, 2019

My family (wife and now 10 and 15 y/o sons) just got home from our most recent trip to MLi. I have posted before so my more detailed explanation of MLI may be more useful for first timers. I am typing on my phone so i apologize in advance for any typos etc We have been coming to the MLi for years either 1 or 2 times per Summer. We xall it our "Happy Place" and my gps indeed has ""Our Happy Place" on it. Nothing has changed with this tremendous Hotel/Inn/Spa. We stayed once again on the 700 level because we love our Housekeeper Linda. We will be upset someday when she retires. We typically stay in an Oak Knoll room but have stayed in suites and I am sure all the rooms and housekeepers are amazing. Our Oak Knoll room continues to me impeccably well appointed and great views. The private beach continuea ro be a favorite of my sons with paddle boards/fishing etc. The women who run it are very nice and will do nearly everything for you. I was happy to hear that tou can order food from the Cottage ( a property restaurant about 200 yds away)now to have it delivered. This may not be new but i noticed it this year. Maybe it was available last year...not sure. I wont go into detail but during the smores night for the kids i ran into 2 more sons of the Weibrecht family and i believe the delightful spouse of Jon Weibrecht. (I may be messing up the relations) ..but great to see involvement of the family and had a great conversation with them. Tremendous family!!!!.... I hope to meet Ed or Lisa and Andrew on one of my future trips. As always we ate at The View. I cannot tell you how amazing and consistent this restaurant is. Jareod Land and his staff are second to none. will it cost you more than an average meal? Yes.....however well worth it and i cant recommend treating yourself more than enjoying a meal at the view. Embrace it and dont look back!!! Trust me We did also eat at the Bistro also. Didnt get to sit at the highly coveted table #1 which i had to explain that it use to be table #2 but another tremendous meal. My wife and I were also please to see Matt still working the bar and we were able to have a great conversation with him and met Fred. So glad to see familiar faces. Hope Matt is an amazing person I could go on and on once again. But the Mirror lake inn deserves all the awards it gets. We have been coming to MLi for years. There was a gap in time but we will not stay anywhere else. While we were there this week we booked for August!!!!!!!! I can always go into more derail for those trying to decide. If you are a newbie to LP you may find rooms elsewhere for cheaper...no doubt but you will not find a better place that epitomizes the Adirondacks than MLI!!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous, friendly, fantastic view

Jun 20th, 2019

We stayed 5 nights at the Mirror Lake Inn and enjoyed all aspects of it. The room was beautiful and comfortable. The food was great. The staff was so kind. And a massage in the spa was one of the best every. The view is so beautiful that we kept trying to figure out how to pack it up and take it home. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Absolutely Amazing!

Jun 20th, 2019

I stayed for 2 nights at this property and it was absolutely amazing in all respects! The property itself is breathtaking. The service is phenomenal. The food and drinks were amazing. If you're looking for a full-service resort that provides a perfect combination of rest/relaxation and tons of activities this is the place! There's also tons to do in the surrounding area within walking/biking distance. Highly recommend! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
