Worth the Money

Apr 7th, 2020

Stayed for 1 night before an early flight. Expensive but worth every penny. Staff is great, hotel is clean, the sound of the planes are minimal. You have an indoor pool and restaurants to choose from, all from within the hotel and or the airport. Again worth the money. I will be using this hotel before my travels again for sure. Wonderful Choice for Lodging at Trudeau Airport!

Mar 22nd, 2020

For my brief vacay in Montreal, I decided to spend my nights at the Marriott In-Terminal Hotel, literally inside the Montreal airport. I am a bizarre person since I enjoy being in airports and airplanes and traveling as much as I can (lol), so while I didn’t opt for luxury in the heart of the Vieux-Port or close to main attractions, I considered myself at an excellent base for venturing out into the city while still giving myself access to the airport if I needed it. For those catching an early-morning flight or getting in late, of course, this is your ideal choice. The service is friendly and professional, the rooms are modern and amenity-rich, and the value is on-point. —If heading out toward the city, taxis and Ubers are available just an elevator ride from the lobby. Valet staff are onsite to assist with arranging transportation as well, including taxis for carrying wheelchairs. Parking is spread out underneath the hotel building itself for folks uninterested in valet, with a reasonable fee. —Unlike older, unrenovated Marriotts, this one appeared fresh, contemporary, clean, and remodeled (or else newer in terms of being built). Views onto the airport tarmac and runways were spectacular, even more so for aviation enthusiasts, and the onsite restaurant (Bijou) offered incredible views as well. This all added to the inviting atmosphere of the hotel. —WiFi free for ALL guests, which is always great! As a Bonvoy member, I take advantage of free Internet, but it was gratifying to know that the amenity was accessible to all without a charge. —The rooms were spotless, spacious, modern and renovated like the common areas, and comfy for a stay of any duration. Due to the intense proximity to the airport, yes you hear a bit of plane noise, but it is very insulated and contained (I was impressed!). No other noise could ever be heard. The TV (which I used a bit) provided multiple options, including streaming from your own device and accessing the now-standards like Netflix and Amazon Prime, and everything worked just great. I now come to expect the highest quality with Marriott TVs (they have had smart TVs for the last of my five-ish visits to any Marriott property), and this time was no exception. —Service was always fantastic and eager to help with whatever you may need. I wanted to practice my ever-confident French language skills with the staff as much as I could, and they enjoyed that :). They are, of course, perfectly bilingual. Due to my physical disability, sometimes I need assistance with luggage, and there were always one or two attendants on duty to help with anything. Well-done to all the staff! —Prices at Bijou were on the pricier side, but no complaints—I often wanted to eat there in order to get back to the hotel with plenty of time in the evening. Value for one’s stay at this Marriott is truly quite awesome for the location and abundance of comforting amenities. —One quick area for improvement, albeit not entirely the hotel’s responsibility: signage. I was certainly about to fall unconscious in baggage claim after my long travel day, and my brain couldn’t work at full throttle, but I could not find/see any sign whatsoever that said “Marriott this way!” or “On-site hotel this way!”. I literally had to ask three people where the entrance to the *onsite* hotel was. To expect travelers of all languages and backgrounds to be able to locate their home for the night or the week or for however long, it is crucial to incorporate clear, plentiful signs to direct them. I was very lost, and usually I excel at navigating myself and others. Just a thought, although I admit that it’s more of the airport’s responsibility. In conclusion, I had an overwhelmingly positive, outstanding time at the Marriott Montreal In-Terminal Hotel. The three main aspects of any hotel stay—location/atmosphere, service, and rooms—left me with an amazing impression. I’m looking forward to returning here on another trip to Montreal sometime in the future! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Ultimate in Convenience

Mar 5th, 2020

This was our first stay at this hotel. When our early morning flight to Florida was moved up even earlier, we decided to treat ourselves so that we would not be so rushed and so stressed that morning. It was a great decision, and we would not hesitate to do this again. The hotel is of course attached to the airport terminal, so you are at the check-out counter within a couple of minutes of exiting your guest room. The room itself is most comfortable, and the low-level under the counter lighting in the bathroom was most appreciated at night. Special kudos to Dmitri at the front desk who checked us in that night. In all of our travels (and we have travelled quite extensively in recent years, with many of our stays being in luxury hotels). Never before have we received such a warm and enthusiastic welcome. He helped get our vacation started on the right note TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good And Approaching Great

Feb 28th, 2020

The recent renovation of this hotel has been very successful. The room furnishings are outstanding. Good desk and chair, a lovely low bed that provided easy access and a very modern nicely placed TV. One unique feature that was greatly appreciated was a motion activated night light for the bathroom. A very thoughtful and useful edition. I stayed on the concierge floor and was pleased both with the ambiance and the food service. One slightly annoying factor is that sweets were only available after the other food was taken away. What kept this from being a five star hotel was the fitness center. The equipment TVs had a problem with no volume. More important for me was the lack of English on the equipment. I could not switch from French and this made the instructions incomprehensible to me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent Convenience

Feb 28th, 2020

We stopped over night in Montreal before heading to our final destination. Check in was quick and easy. The Front desk service was fantastic, and the room was very nice and clean. The only negative was the service in the restaurant that night, Brutal! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
