What a dump

Jul 22nd, 2020

Had a reservation for July 14, 2020. When we arrived we were told we were not in the system. Got checked in, to an available room, which had no air on. Turned on the very old wall unit, went to get some ice, the machine was broken. Had to go to Exon gas station to buy ice. Getting back to the room, my husband was cleaning the filter on the air wall unit which was filthy. After about 2 hours my husband was laying on the bed with our pup and his feet looked like he had been walking through dirt. (He had not left the room) Mine were clean but I had not taken off my shoes. Questionable surroundings. Did not feel safe. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great 👍 pets stay free!

Sep 17th, 2019

Liked it. Looks like they have a new management. They have brighter lights and redid the parking lot. I felt safe. Slept well and served our purpose. Nice and clean rooms. They have included microwave and refrigerator in the room compared to my last visit. Both my pets got to stay for free. They have also included a grab and go breakfast that is not much. However, like before we walked into McDonalds to get a our breakfast. Will definitely recommend it and come again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worse overnight of this trip

Aug 18th, 2019

Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this dump. First room given, floor was so slick I was afraid of falling. Second room smelled terrible and had to spray. Two beds with one pillow each. One towel and one washcloth for 2 people. Floor was so dirty my slipper socks were black after one trip to the dilapidated antiquated bathroom. Appeared to be questionable goings on in the parking lot and a homeless female propositioned my husband in the front of the lobby. I could not wait to get out of there TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not clean feeling

Jul 25th, 2019

Stayed here overnight and was not happy. The plastic ice bucket was cracked. They give you 2 pillows per bed and just a couple towels. The top of one of the sheets had a dirt mark. The shower did not look clean. The floor felt gritty. There was no air on so the room smelled funky and was hot. It’s weird since the sink looks updated but the rest looks run down. Very much like a hostel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pet Friendly but...

Jan 24th, 2019

The saying goes, you might be poor but you can be clean. Same goes for motels; you may be cheap but you still should be clean. We originally tried another motel/hotel across the street but even though they were pet friendly they wouldn't let you leave the animal in the hotel room while you went to get something to eat. Sorry since we were tired of driving for the last 8 hours we decided for a motel sex that we saw a right across the street. It was cheap but more Importantly allowed pets and you could leave them in the Room while you went to get something to eat. The Lady who checked us in was very nice. The only rule about the dog was that it was kept on a leash at all times. The motel is very old and the bath tub in this particular unit showed its wear. There was dust all over. The floors were bare and were very dirty as evidenced by a washcloth my husband used to wipe up some water from a few ice cubes that melted on the floor. Underneath the bed was really dusty which is strange since I saw a swifter on the cleaning cart up front near the front office. The cubes that held the clean towels were dirty inside. The sidewalks along the rooms were filthy. The toilet was clean, the sink was new, the laundry room which we used for one load was clean but the price was a little much; $2.50 wash, $2.50 dry, regular size, $1.50 for detergent or dryer sheet. After we got the batteries replaced in the remote the tv worked. There were people hanging around the office everytime we went up there (for laundry, batteries). It sits back off the main road and did have good lighting throughout the night. Although we did stay in lieu of all the negatives, if you don't have a pet then find somewhere else to stay, even if it costs you a little more. If you do have a pet there are a few more alternatives right there off 95 but check them out before you say yes. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
