Decent Motel For The Price
Jan 28th, 2019
This motel was going through a remodel when I stayed, so things were a little messy. Regardless, the manager Pritesh Patel and his staff went out of their way to make me comfortable and happy. In this day and age, customer service of this excellent caliber is rare. For the price, this motel suits my needs just fine, which is one of the reasons I usually stay at this Motel 6 when I visit Mobile and Pensacola. Another reason I prefer this motel is the prime location. There's a Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel, McDonald's, and a Chick-Fil-A all within a one to two mile radius. And with Springdale Plaza and The Shoppes At Bel Air across the street, there are many other shopping/dining options available. If you're on a tight budget, this motel is the way to go! Pretty nice place in a not too nice location.

This hotel was renovating many of its rooms. There was an off duty policeman providing security. That made me feel safe. Room was very clean. Staff was present, that's about it. Room rate was just about half the rate of the other big brand hotels in the area. I'd go back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
HORRIBLE- DO NOT STAY HERE

We chose this Motel for the cheaper rates. Upon arriving we see an obvious drug/prostitution business on the bottom floor - 24/7 people coming in and out with a guard watching the door. The room was gross, mold, not clean, lights not working, no towels. The pool was worse. It was Green with fake hair weave all on the ground and in the pool with beer cans and cigarette butts. We were scared for our safety! Housekeepers did NOTHING but bring a garbage back on our 3 nights there!! HORRIBLE!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A complete nightmare. Please go by the reviews and don't waste your money!!! I left this place and got a wonderful hotel 2 Hours west in New Orleans. It was so bad that I completely left Alabama. I wouldn't let my dogs even lay on the sheets. The security latch broke off my door!?!? And nothing was offered as far as refund. My family was very insecure and uncomfortable. Dirty floors and fleas on bed. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

According to hotels.com I booked the last available room and then we arrived at 3:30 am, so there wasn't much option but to stay in the room we were given. Bedspreads were filthy, ac was turned up full blast on 60 degrees and the floor was damp and dirty. Ones of the beds was at a visible tilt and extremely sunken in the middle, my husband and I took that one to give his mother the better bed and I had to cling to the edge all night to keep from rolling across. The bathroom floor was even grosser than the room and the tub had very obviously not been cleaned (dirt in the floor and drain) shower curtain also stained. Bathmat and towel both had hair and other foreign particles on them, always disconcerting. Supposedly there's supposed to be complementary coffee in the lobby but I didn't see it. We got the best laugh when we checked out and were asked "how was everything?" I smiled and shrugged, saying "well, you get what you pay for, it was ok" ... The lady who checked us in there night before was slouched in a corner of the room, and she piped up to say "weylll, when ah called the room layst night y'all saeed evrahthing was fihhhn."
