Customer service nope lies about all the up charges, housekeeping unprofessional, WiFi nonexistent rather stay in my car then to comeback here, I don't have much to say I'm only writing this much because there is a minimum of words to write I booked a room with ON THE PICTURE says fridge and microwave DID NOT receive and the lady at the front say she will change it for me and had the audacity to charge me more of course I said no this place is not worth the money she say tomorrow will be cheaper for a room with fridge and microwave... literally this place is only worth one night sleep I wish I knew never coming back ever. BAD side: Last week, I went to the front desk to book a room. The staff who was working that time was wearing a gray uniform, short hair, looks asian and short in height but the body weight is like Samoan. She was NOT pleasant. Terrible! The moment I stepped in she immediately said no room and come back at 3. I didn’t even say anything and it seemed like I disturbed her sitting and she wanted me to leave right away. I told her I’d book and pay a room and then come back later at 3. She replied arrogantly NO come back at 3. She could’ve said it nicer. She should not be working in the front desk. She is a disgrace for customer service. She must be trained as how to be polite. She was not wearing a name plate so I asked her name. She said her name is Sam. I left and didn’t book a room! I went somewhere else. I liked it here before because Lisa was helpful and very courteous that is why I came back here than booking somewhere else. But Sam ruined it! I wish to write to the CEO and complain about Sam that time but I was busy on my business trip. This review is late but it’ll be a warning for future guests to beware on this staff named Sam! Safe and sane

I booked here because the location was near the hospital I needed to be the next day. Room rate is cheap and looks clean. One time I went to the front desk to remake my room key. I told the staff my room number and handed back my room key. The staff attended to me was not the staff who booked me. When the staff was about to make my key, another staff excused herself, apologized for the interruption and asked me my ID. But my ID is in the room. So the staff asked if to whom the room is registered, the complete address and the telephone number on file to make sure that I was the person registered in the room since I don’t have my ID with me before my key be made again. Her badge name is Lisa and she’s a manager. She explained to me that it’s for safety check since she wasn’t the one who booked me either and just making sure no other person gets to my room due to error. Oh I was very happy. I told her I am Very pleased she asked me more to make sure it was really me registered in the room. I was going to actually complain to corporate after if my key is made without verifying my full identity properly. But thank goodness Lisa was right there at the right time. It was a test from me to any staff how safe my stay in motel 6. My privacy is very important to me. I thanked lisa for getting into it right away because what if I was not the person registered in that room and I just randomly said a room number. Lisa’s quick rescue made me feel I am completely safe and sane when I stay in this property. I hope the rest of the crew there is as careful and diligent as Lisa and not to hesitate to ask more to confirm the identity of the guest before making a key. Thank you Lisa! Good job! We book online and we arrive late night. Staff don’t know anything. Confuse on our reservation and the hotel system is mess up. We are sleepy and wait for so long. When we get to our room, we go out again and back to the hotel late night same day. Our room have no aircon and the air is blowing hot. We go to the front office and tell the staff we need to change room with a good aircon. The manager Lisa is there and she tell me not to worry. She and one staff go to our room and check the aircon. Lisa tell us they will find a new room for us and will check the aircon first before she issue the new key. We wait in our car and it is quick Lisa say the room is ready and the aircon is good. We go to the new room and the aircon is good. Our room is comfortable, cool and clean. I call Lisa back in front office and thank her for the fast service and letting us have a late check at 12. Also she say sorry to us for the inconveniences we deal all day during our first check in. Glad she is nice and help us. Lisa made our day. I will give good review because of her. If you book here, look for Lisa. She is nice And willing to help. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Can't open window shades due to layout of building

While nicely refurbished, the layout of the building is what gives my review only 3 stars. The walkway is around the perimeter of the building, so if you open your window curtains, you give any passerby an excellent view into your room. There are no windows that open to just sky -- they are all facing the wraparound walkway. Therefore, I felt the need to keep my curtains closed the whole time, which was depressing and claustrophobic. That being said, it was an okay place to stay for one or two nights. You will want to ask for the following at the front desk, however, as they are not provided in the rooms: hairdryer / shampoo / more than 1 cake of soap / extra blanket. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
