Very average. Resort fee does not equal good resort experience.

Rooms are small but nice. Outdoor pool area is decent sized (Pool slide ok for younger kids) but indoor pool is a joke and a cesspool. Avoid that. Where this place falls down is cleanliness outside. Dirty towels, trash all over the place. Basketball rim bent down. I understand being off-season but during speak break they need to staff up. Especially considering room prices and charging a resort fee. Really? Looks like they have decent meeting space and conference rooms. Food prices at restaurants are sky high for a Marriott. Standing water between beach and hotel. Could be in an issue during warmer months for bugs. Literally zero benefits for titanium members. Not a terrible choice but not a great one either. Ideal Business Getaway

Our conference has been held here several times. There are So many things to speak positively about: the banquet service staff was lovely and very professional, especially Amy and Susan! The pool / hot tub area is a great size with plenty of lounge chairs, beach access, hammocks, pool side service, indoor / outdoor bars — all amazing. The conference amenities are ideal as well. Perfect place for a work/play combo! Fitness center is great also, especially love the cable crossover machine! Our valet was Kenny, very helpful and personable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A Hidden Gem

I’ve stayed in Myrtle Beach numerous times and never knew this was here until now. Now that I’ve found it, I probably won’t stay anywhere else. Immaculate grounds, right on the beach, and great amenities all served up with a smile. 5 stars all the way. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Super nice resort property with large pools, spa and conference facility. Had a few days off and thought we would take a trip to Myrtle Beach to relax at the Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes. Very nice property with some things that are in need of a bit of updating but it looked like they were working on some of those things in preparation for the summer rush. We stayed in early April so it was very slow and quiet which was nice. Staff was super friendly. Was disappointed to find out our King room was not available at 4 in the afternoon so we settled for a double queen. An update to a balcony room would have been nice. Must be short on cleaning staff because they had a door hanger that said they would give you 500 points per night if you didn't have your room cleaned which is good if you don't need your bed made every day. Wanted to try the sauna and steam room but it closes at 7PM and didn't work with our schedule. Might be off season hours or something like that. All in all a nice stay. Convenient location to restaurants and shopping with nice beach area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Fabulous breakfast server!

We had breakfast each morning of our stay and were greeted and served by Mo. He is the friendliest most upbeat man we’ve met in some time. He was attentive to our needs, made sure we had coffee to take with us and always encouraged us to enjoy the view of the ocean. What a great way to start each day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
