Great size room close to restaurants

Nov 4th, 2019

Stayed in standard double room and it was very spacious and comfortable. Downstairs is a restaurant and bar but there are restaurants within about a 15 min walk. Hotel has nice pool. Public carport located next door and cost 15 euro per night. Get discount voucher from reception TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel in central location

Oct 5th, 2019

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is modern and the rooms were well sized, clean, and comfortable. Noise was no issues. There is on sight parking. It is in a central location. I would recommend staying here. *Room service was very slow. We just wanted a snack before dinner reservations and they said it would be up within 30 minutes and after an hour we ended up just canceling. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel and very accommodating staff

Sep 18th, 2019

Very nice and calm hotel near the old port in marseille. Rooms were spacious and clean. Pool/bar area was very nice although a tad noisy from the road below. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very accomodating to some of our religious requests over the Jewish Sabbath. Would highly recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Comfortable and modern hotel near the port

Sep 6th, 2019

We stayed two nights at the New Hotel and were pleasantly surprised. It took us about 10 minutes to walk to the old port, yet it was so quiet at night, you'd think you were in the middle of nowhere! (We had room 322 at the back of the hotel, not overlooking the pool and bar). The hotel is quirky and modern, the pool is great for relaxing. Our room had a HUGE bed that was incredibly comfortable and the air con was a welcome relief. Bathrooms were lovely and clean, with very posh complimentary toiletries, dressing gowns and slippers. Mini bar and TV in the room too. My only criticism is that the restaurant was pricey, so we opted to walk into the port for food, or to visit local boulangeries we found in the side streets - there's lots of choice. Decent hotel and location- poor restaurant service

Aug 26th, 2019

We recently stayed at the New Hotel of Marseille for 3 nights. Rooms were nice and clean, and the pool area was great. Unfortunately on our last day we were told we couldn’t eat lunch at the restaurant because they had a convention earlier and they were very busy (with very few occupied tables they definitely weren’t still busy). We questioned the closing time of the restaurant, they replied ‘now’, which was at 13:50. This differed from their advertised open hours of noon-14:30. Very disappointing and sadly affected our last day and otherwise pleasant stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
