Another wonderful stay - family friendly hotel and indoor pool at a fantastic Brooklyn location

Jan 14th, 2020

Our family spent the holidays at New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge for the third time. As always, we had a wonderful time. The hotel is located near tons of food and shopping. Our favorite thing about this hotel is the indoor pool and hot tub. We checked out the NY Transit Museum (just a few blocks away) this time which was big hit with the kids. The hotel is also just a few subway stops from the Brooklyn Museum which was well worth the visit. During this stay, we had access to the M Club which was a really nice perk. It was a relaxing space with lots of sitting areas and breakfast, evening hors d'oeuvres and surprisingly delicious desserts. We also have to mention how helpful and friendly the staff were at the M Club and front desk. We’ll definitely be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice Hotel, Welcoming Lobby, Good Location.

Jan 12th, 2020

Stayed a couple nights at this nice Marriott near Brooklyn Bridge. Rooms were very nice, comfortable, and staff was professional and courteous. Having a tray of cookies and drinks was a nice touch the day we checked in (at the lobby) not sure if it's every day though. If you have time, visit the gym and spa floor, the pool is huge and gym is not your typical small workout area. Good stuff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Highly recommend this Brooklyn Bridge Marriott. Reflects proudly on the entire enterprise. Service at the front desk, restaurant / bar nothing short of outstanding. Gym is clean and contains a very useful range of gear. Will return. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel

I have read some of the reviews already submitted, but I can only go on my own experience, the hotel staff were friendly and polite at all times especially the men at the front entrance, they assisted in every way they could which helped us overseas travellers. There was one particular staff member who assisted us by giving information of the surrounding area, helping us with recommendations in eateries and other useful information. I will be recommending this hotel and would definitely stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Only one WiFi portal for the entire hotel and conf center. You will get 1 bar if you are lucky, dont expect internet

Jan 7th, 2020

I'm Ambassador level with Marriott ( 130 nights a year). After calling the desk repeatedly and getting a different story each time about how I needed to connect ( I was connected- it was just unstable and slow), they finally sent me thru to their provider. I ran several speed tests and read the results to the provider. After 40 minutes he finally admitted that the whole 500 + room hotel and conference center had one ( 1) wifi portal and this was a known problem. The best part of this was I called and asked to speak to the manager. 6 hours later nothing. There are plenty of MI brands right across the bridge, and several new downtown properties. Don't stay here if you need WiFi access, TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
