Summer weekend getaway
Aug 13th, 2020
We chose this location for two main reasons: (1) the exclusive use of paddle-boards, canoes, kayaks, etc. and (2) the location - it is in the quieter part of the Whistler/Blackcomb area, although very close, but not in the hustle and bustle of the Village. There was ample availability of the sporting equipment but make sure you book it early to get the time slot you want, especially on a warm sunny day! The location is to die for, the lake is beautiful and has easy access to bike trails. You can come to this hotel and not bring a thing and have a wonderful experience on the lake. The restaurants were impeccably clean and food was fantastic. There is a coffee shop on site, and both restaurants have lake-front seating. We were impressed with the staff attention to sanitizing and use of masks. If you are thinking of coming here during COVID times I think you will feel more than safe. There is no housekeeping during COVID restrictions but the housekeeping staff were very pleasant and asked us if we needed anything whenever we passed them in the hall. Lastly, I appreciated the staff at the front desk. they were easy to reach with a text-message system, and super accommodating. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable experience! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Had a lovely 3 night stay here. Location in Creekside Village is great for your vacation if you want some adventure during your time in Whistler. It’s a 5km bike to the Whistler Village. You can book a 2 hour time slot to borrow their cruiser bikes to ride the Valley Trail. 1 hour time slots can be booked to use their Stand Up Paddle Boards, or canoes or a kayak. Nita Lake Lodge has lots to offer to make your stay enjoyable, relaxing and add a bit of activity and adventure into your time in Whistler! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Great Summer Destination
Aug 7th, 2020
Nita Lake Lodge certainly understands customer service - friendly staff, great amenities, very good quality food and beverage, bikes, water sport equipment and outdoor patio make it a great spot for a summer get away. And of course great rooms - either lake view (a little bit extra but worth it), although even the mountain view could be our choice again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We enjoyed our stay at NLL recently. As Vancouver residents we have often admired the hotel and its location. Our one bedroom suite on the lakeview side was wonderful. The hotel is managing the Covid crisis well, from check in to departure. As we have experienced at other hotels recently, nobody comes into your room during the duration of your stay, so we make our bed etc. etc. We made full use of the excellent shuttle to the Whistler Village, avoiding the need to find parking. We feel that there are a couple of shortcomings however. The dark woodwork which is predominant throughout the suite is showing years of abuse and needs to be refurbished. The bed is very low and quite hard. Not firm, but hard. Also there is no table or writing surface like a desk. We felt that this was a shortcoming as there is a mini kitchen for meal preparation and yet no table and chairs. We enjoyed our stay and would give the hotel a higher rating if there were not the shortcomings listed above. The staff are friendly and managing the Covid situation with a smile on their faces. The Jewel of Whistler

The Nita is above and beyond my favourite place to stay in Whistler. No other hotel can compete for location and the lakeside view is amazing. The Nita is a real Canadian lodge both inside and out. I've even seen the odd game of shinny hockey played on the lake in winter right outside the hotel doors. What could be more Canadian than that! Over the years that I've been staying here, I've gotten to know many of the staff by name. They always go out of their way to make my stay special and are most accommodating. I love the big rooms and the spacious bathrooms with lots of counter space and walk-in showers. The rooms also have fireplaces that are perfect for warming up after skiing. If you get the chance to visit don't skip breakfast especially if you like eggs benedict. I also recommend the Cure burger - it's a local favourite. A dip in the lake on a hot summer's day is also a must! My most recent stay was during Phase III of BC covid restrictions and I felt totally safe at the Nita and very happy to be back!
