Great location and great staff

Oct 31st, 2019

Hotel is located in the middle of the old city so a great location. The rooms are spacious and perfect in all respects. Plenty of great bars and restaurants near by. The breakfast choices are awesome and plenty to eat. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only downside was there is a bar but didn't seem to open? TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfecto

Oct 24th, 2019

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. We booked the “bishop’s suite” and it was gorgeous. You cannot beat the location. We had a perfect dinner right next door. My only caution is to be careful if you are driving. Google maps led us up pedestrian only streets, with people in wheelchairs scurrying out of the way. We sorted it out, but not without stress. Pay attention to the directions from the hotel itself. Once you arrive you will be happy. How you get there is more problematic. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel captures the essence of what is wonderful about this part of Italy

Aug 15th, 2019

Joyous bijou hotel with warm staff and a collection of works by the Gruppo di Scicli. Hot fresh ricotta for breakfast with the freshest tastiest fruit selection. Its location is smack bang in the centre of town. Hotel captures what is truly wonderful about this region. Plethora of eateries nearby. We hardly used our vehicle. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family in apartment

Jun 30th, 2019

We were 4 in an apartment ("maisonette"), there is a double bed plus a single bed in a loft upstairs, plus a double sofa bed downstairs with the bathroom and small kitchen. Two A/C units, one in the loft and one downstairs. Parking was free but off site. Excellent location and staff. We were 4 in a modern apartment ("maisonette"), separate from the main hotel, and without its old-world charm. There is a double bed plus a single bed in a loft upstairs, plus a double sofa bed downstairs with the bathroom and small kitchen. Two A/C units, one in the loft and one downstairs. There are only clerestory windows so no view. Parking was free but off site (street parking), on our one day stay in late June we didn't have trouble finding parking. Scicli is a small and lovely town, and nothing is far from the hotel. However the hotel should supply information on how to get there in advance. Scicli has a ZTL but it is OK to pull up to the front door to unload luggage. We didn't know that and wasted time working around that. Driving in town can be affected by filming for the Inspector Montalbano TV series (road closures). Breakfast was typical Sicilian, i.e. lots of sweets, and cheese, yogurt, and cold meat slices for protein, no eggs. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stylish small boutique hotel in a good location

Jun 20th, 2019

Very comfortable rooms - our bathroom had a great jacuzzi as well as a very good shower - good breakfast, lovely courtyard. This small boutique-type hotel is a beautiful conversion of an old building in the old part of Scicli. Staff are friendly and helpful. You cannot eat there in the evening, but there are lots of really good places to eat just round the corner. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
