Best Hotel we stayed at during our tour of France. Best Sleep!

Oct 28th, 2019

This was by far the best (although not the highest star) hotel we stayed in during our tour around France this year. The bed was so comfortable and perfect. I honestly think this is the only night we got a really deep good sleep. The room was really nice and I loved how the bathroom and toilet room are totally separated. The room also has a really nice big window that opens. The area of the hotel is really nice as well. The hotel inside is really a fun decor. Also the pool area is gorgeous. When I show people photos they are always saying how nice this hotel is. I'm honestly surprised this is only a three star hotel....like I said best hotel during our entire vacation! Next time I am in Lyon I am only saying here! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect stop off on the way to Geneva

Aug 9th, 2019

Stayed here as a family of four - myself, my husband and two teenage boys. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we certainly weren’t disappointed. The room was lovely, clean and spacious - it was a suite on the second floor. There were lots of little useful extras in the room including a stocked mini bar (complimentary soft drinks and nuts), a jar of sweets as well as the usual toiletries plus some extras eg shaving kits. The staff were very friendly and the bar attendant even went searching for a local channel showing the Community Shield game which certainly pleased my eldest son. He also recommended a rather nice local rosè wine which didn’t disappoint. There are plenty of things to keep younger and older children entertained including a small swimming pool, fuse-ball and an arcade game. There was a good selection of food available at the dinner buffet and breakfast. Overall, the hotel was extremely clean and well maintained as well as being ‘pretty to look at’ inside. We didn’t venture out so can’t comment on the location in relation to the City Centre. We would most definitely visit again if coming to this area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Gastronomic undelight

Jul 28th, 2019

I had booked a family room and we were given a fabulous suite on the executive floor, complete with lovely balcony which had 2 sun loungers! The size of the pool though was very disappointing considering the size of the hotel complex. It was tiny and with the temperature hitting 39, of course there was no room to swing a duck in there and you got constantly bombarded by kids jumping in. There just seemed not enough staff to cope all round, which seemed to make the overworked ones on duty quite grumpy. Only Wilson at reception was up to par, while the chap at the bar was a hero trying to cope on his own. Room service took an hour to respond, the breakfast was poor and one look at the evening buffet made me turn away - it cost 22 euros. I wouldn’t have had that for even 10 euros. The tram which runs nearby was down so it had to be a bus ride to the nearest metro Debourg- or a tough 15 min walk in the heat. To eat, we had to stroll to a couple of good pizza and burger places nearby. So overall, room fantastic but service and facilities not up to scratch. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice rooms. Clean hotel

Jul 28th, 2019

I am American..and not familiar with Novotel standards. It was a clean hotel. Good size room for 3 of us. They had a ton of guests, like ourselves, here for the World Cup. They had a dinner buffet and could handle the large number of hungry families. It wasn’t the easiest location to get around. Not not many restaurants in the neighborhood. We didn’t enjoy the pool they have here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Friendly Staff, Exceptional Rooms, Fantastic Breakfast

Jul 23rd, 2019

We had a three night stay in an executive room on level 8. Rooms were modern and well appointed and had an extra door between the entrance to the room and the sleeping area. Bed was firm and so was the sofa bed. Room was very quiet for sleeping and we did not hear any other guest noise during our stay. We stayed in Paris and five other hotels in regional France, and we found the Staff at this Hotel to be the most friendly and helpful. Assisted us with directions / information for using the tram and metro and recommended local restaurants / tourist attractions. Julian at reception was particularly helpful. Loved the breakfast, there was a wide selection to choose from including pastries, fruit, cheese, cold meats, cereal, waffles, crepes, eggs (poach yourself), scrambled eggs, fantastic baguettes, toast, yoghurt, juices, coffees, tea. Swam in the pool and it was refreshing and very clean. Have to pay two Euro's for pool towel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
