I stayed with my family (wife and 4-year-old daughter) during the weekend. It is quite different considering the context, but everything was perfect. The hotel is clean, and the staff is very considerate. The room size was good for the 3 of us (quite a spacious). Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed, and we did not try the restaurant for dinner. The hotel has some nice restaurants in the area, so it was not a problem. And the breakfast was really good. The area around the hotel is quiet and it seems more business related. So, during the weekend, empty. Not a lot of shops around. But it is good if you want a quiet night of sleep. For the pool usage during the COVID period, they created a planning. It is not optimal, and it is quite frustrating as people reserve and don’t use it. The hotel should do something different. And of course, guests should be more respectful. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not Novotel I expected

We stayed in a family room. Pros: very good swimming pool (max 6 ppl at a time) with a special key card to access, good safety measures (1 person/in the lift at a time, sanitizer in the lift!, automatically opening doors from/to garage and friendly staff, DYI gift for kids was nice gesture, welcoming drink. Cons: expensive parking CHF29/24 hrs. 1 welcoming water bottle (0.5l) for 4 ppl (2 adults + 2 kids), no after shower conditioner and no lotion in the bathroom. Doors of a toilet do not lock from inside. Toilet and the sink were yellowish (not very clean) and this is a 4-star hotel (!) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Usual high and consistent standard. Great pancakes at breakfast. Am easy check in and check out. Quiet rooms and I like the option to not have rooms cleaned so as to benefit the environment and not spread Corona virus. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Customer care not existing

My wife booked us three nights in two Novotel hotels in Switzerland on the Easter week. Due to the corona virus outbreak, we have been forced to rebook our vacation - it was a requirement from our government. All the other hotels where we will be staying understood the situation and allowed us to rebook, even though we have booked with the exact same policy as yours. Normal people, with a due sense of customer care and a minimum commercial sensitivity understand that the circumstances are extraordinary and couldn’t possibly have been foreseen. Novotel in Switzerland doesn’t have the notion of customer care nor commercial sensitivity. Our money is gone, but so are your customers. As a frequent business traveller (with a loyalty membership for this group) and doing regular family travelling as well, I am perfectly aware of the existing options outside the Accor group - and I have made my option. Good price for a great stay

Hotel clean and modern. Buffet breakfast has wide range of foods. Staff very friendly. Location isnt the best as its far from city but hotel is very close to tram stop which takes about 10min to get into city hub. Zurich is very pricey in AUD dollars to stay, so Novotel was a good price for a very nice stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
