A Charming Boutique Hotel
Sep 23rd, 2020
Actually our son found us this hotel ,for a night in London for a family Christening. I can’t recommend more highly. All the staff were charming and very helpful, difficult for them too ,in these trying times . Our Room was extremely comfortable, and beautifully decorated, even if you wouldn’t quite choose it yourself, it certainly gives one some good ideas for any future decorating ,really loved it and hopefully we will be back soon ,can’t recommend more highly, and I have stayed in and know well most of the top 10 London hotels ,Claridges, Berkely,,Hyde Park ,Ritz ,Dukes to name a few , if you want a hotel that feels like staying in a private house ,this is for you TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I have found my home from home

When we lived in Chelsea, I would often park in Sumner Place to go S Ken tube, yet No. 16 is so discrete it was some long while before I realised it was a hotel, not just 4 averagely lovely terraced houses. Now I have relocated to Cheltenham, I do still have both work and pleasure commitments in London, so tried this out as my overnight stay. This lovely hotel has single rooms! This in itself is such a rarity, but these are single rooms de la. Like the best poss tiny yet perfectly formed bedroom in a country house, every detail perfect. Staff are also exceptionally nice and efficient too, and I sense have made a note of my needs and preferences (sadly at present gluten free - they catered for that oh so well) in readiness for the next visit. I had a quick lunch there before going out to work (smoked salmon, caper-berries, GF bread and butter) and a light supper after work (salad nicoise, hold only the croutons, served again with excellent GF toast and butter). Breakfast is heavenly. Thanks to all at No. 16. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We’d been to stay and eat at two other Firmdale Hotels in London and so decided to visit Number 16. We weren’t disappointed, Three townhouses knocked together to create a wonderful boutique hotel. Very homely and cosy, yet sophisticated, Excellent attentive and friendly staff and beautiful rooms - good breakfasts as well. Recommended TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The perfect stay aka Home away from home
Feb 12th, 2020
The property is a block of 2/3 townhouses located in the quiet heart of SK. In order to make your stay unique, n°16's rooms feature different patterns and high-value furniture: the overal design and cleaning are at thei best. Common areas on the ground floor are not that big, though, they are so warm and cute. Last but not least, staff at n°16 is really friendly, attentive and helpful for whatever you need during your stay. A special thanks to Anna at the reception that helped me during sotrm ciara difficult time. In terms of dimension, single room bathrooms could be improved, though, the shower tube is well set and comfortable. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
