Overview

Past guests loved the hotel's charming atmosphere
A gym and spa are not available here

This boutique hotel, just steps away from the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia, is often described as "quaint," "charming" and "delightful." And it's easy to see why: The property is set on its own residential circle, and each room is uniquely decorated with elements like a cherry wood headboard, hardwood floors and MALIN + GOETZ bath amenities. All accommodations also offer free Wi-Fi access, individual climate controls and flat-screen televisions. Plus, instead of a traditional lobby, the Oakhurst Inn has four libraries with books and newspapers for reading and free refreshments, couches and fireplaces for relaxing. The property is also home to a small cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch. The city's smallest coffee shop is housed inside the hotel as well. While the inn has limited on-site facilities (there's no gym or spa), the nearby trolley will take you into downtown Charlottesville, or you can hop in your car to explore the nearby wineries, Monticello or Michie Tavern.
