Extremely Friendly and Clean!

Jul 5th, 2020

Went to South Beach over the 4th to visit son who lives there. Beach was closed due to Covid, as were many places, and there was a 10 pm curfew. Still had a wonderful trip seeing son. The people at the hotel were very friendly - really wonderful! The common areas and our room were spotless. The room was very comfortable and quiet - no street noise! We felt very safe in the hotel and we highly recommend it. Will stay there again next time we visit son! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Location in Heart of South Beach

Mar 3rd, 2020

One of our favorite aspects of this hotel is their location. They are in the heart of South Beach. We found no issues walking to everything we wanted to enjoy during the week we were present. The Atlantic Ocean beach is only a block away and the hotel provides free sun umbrellas and beach chairs. The number of restaurants and bars in this area is overwhelming. Even if you do not like walking, you have options within 100 feet left. right and across the street from the hotel. A small convenience store is beside the hotel, another 100 feet or less to the left, with a larger market on the next street over. Larger markets are within walking distance. Also present nearby is a pharmacy and a variety of stores (e.g. clothing, souvenirs). We could not be happier with our choice. The clean, tidy rooms have a flat screen TV (dozens of channels), a kitchenette (plates, pans, pots, silverware & sink), a refrigerator, microwave, a table & chairs and free wifi. The hotel has a 24 hour front desk. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful. They provide a continental breakfast (coffee, tea, juices, milk, cereal, waffles, breads, yogurt, fruit). For guests with a vehicle, public street paid parking and a private paid parking garage (a block down) are available or use the hotel valet parking. As stated, we loved this location and look forward to another visit to South Beach at this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Request a room not on the road front, very noisy

Feb 15th, 2020

We stayed here one night only, we were in a room that was right on the main road frontage, it was very noisy as the road was busy all night. The room was clean and well presented, had a small kitchenette with microwave but no cooking facilities. Friendly desk staff and the breakfast offered was surprising, given the small space they used to present the breakfast in - it was in the lobby area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best location, Good value for money, Helpful Staff, Valet Parking (Paid). Highly recommended

LOCATION - is just amazing! Couldn't be any better. Muscle beach is barely a five minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shopping, pharmacy etc. within walking distance STAFF - is very helpful. They answered all the questions/requests patiently. Helped with requets we made. We asked for an electric hob as our 1year old fell ill and we wanted to cook something at our room, which already had a kitchenette with some utensils ROOM- It was good size. We had a super king bed, and a sofa/bed convertible. Room had space for cot as well for the baby (cot provided by them. There was a dinning table with 4 bar chairs as well, very useful as breakfast area didn't have any seating and people would take breakfast to their rooms in a large tray that was provided FACILITIES in the ROOM - There was a decent sized kitchen attached to the room with a basin, MICROWAVE, cupboards and basic utencils. VERY USEFUL when travelling with baby/kid. An electric hob was also available on request, to cook baby food in the room BREAKFAST - Breakfast had basic selection of pastries, bread, juices, fruits and yogurt but keeping the cost and the location in mind, it was good to have breakfast availabe. It was put next to the reception which was a small area, but people were given large trays to take everthing to their rooms, that already had 4-people dinning tables, so it was all good. Best part of breakfast was WAFFLES, to be made by guests using a do-it-yourself waffle maker. Staff was also available to help with the waffle maker. However, whenever we travel to US, we like to go out for breakfast to nearby best-rated american breakfast diners, and that's what we did on two out of three mornings PARKING - It is the most central place on Miami Beach, and hence parking is scarce and expensive. We opted for valet parking which is a little more expensive than street and municipal parking 0.3 miles away, but so much more convenient. Costed $80 for 3 days, unlimited access. I'd highly recommend paying for valet. Because otherwise you'd spend time looking for parking spots most of the time. With Valet, there are 2-3 spots right outside the hotel and across the road, where you can just park and hand over the key to valet staff or hotel reception and they will take the car to an offsite parking. When you need the car back, you need to call reception half an hour before you need the car and they will get the car from offsite parking back to those parking spots right outside.
