Wonderful Staff

Feb 20th, 2020

The morning yoga with Isabel is wonderful, one of the mornings, I was the only participant and she took the time to ask what I do, what I would like to work on, and taught me a series of stretches and techniques that would benefit me personally. Cabot recommend Isabel enough, and this was a theme through my week. Alberto was amazing, the wait staff everywhere were lovely, and the a la carte waiters were incredible. The rooms were basic, but the views were lovely and the resort was immaculate. The buffet was good, although simple, but the Mexican a la carte was phenomenal. For a 3 star resort, I was pleasantly surprised and very happy. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

All inclusive, Simple place to stay

Feb 20th, 2020

(February 2020). If you don't need an extravagant place to stay, this is the place for you. Its simple. The place could use some definite updating but it has all your needs. The room has more of a motel feel with 2 beds, bathroom, and small fridge in the room. There is a small lighted patio outside each room with 2 chairs. Dont bother turning on the T.V., it's fuzzy (Spanish only). The shower door doesnt close so the floor tends to get wet. The grounds outside are kept up well. Very beautiful. There were places to sit on the beach. It wasn't overcrowded at the time I went. The staff are accommodating and friendly. Food and drinks are included. No room service. There are a few places to eat on the grounds. Lots of birds flying around waiting for you to forget your food outside. I wasn't a big fan of the food. Whatever was made on the grill at one of the restaurants was the best bet. Omelettes made in the morning were good. The pizza that was made in the oven outside was mediocre. There is an atm in the lobby that provides American dollars and a Santander atm that provides pesos. One small pool for adults and a couple for kids outside with some outdoor games (ping pong). 24 hour store available across the street. Easily picked up by transport for excursions planned. If you don't plan on staying in the hotel all day, this is a simple, small, place to stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice and affordable

Feb 17th, 2020

This was a very affordable place to stay. The quality was great for the price but if you are a lucky water, you may want to arrange for food elsewhere. It was OK but not much variety. Overall though, the staff make up for what the resort was lacking. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Place

We visited Ocean Spa while we were staying at a sister hotel, Sunset Royal. We enjoy spending some time here when we visit Cancún. This trip we booked a Hobby Cat tour with Uriel and it was Great, he was very good at what he does and provided us with valuable information about the area as we had a relaxing sail. Uriel was amazing! He took us out on a tour, was informative, very pleasant, and made us feel very comfortable. We highly recommend finding him at the resort and booking a tour with him. He provided valuable and appreciated information about Ocean Spa.... it sounds like we need to spend more time there on our next trip! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
