Halfway home

Jul 15th, 2019

It was very clean. The hotel food was great. The drinks at the bar were delicious and the pool was incredible. Surrounded by a lot of great places to eat. Easy access on and off the instate. Such a great way to end our vacation. We are thinking of coming down for the heck of it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great design

Jul 14th, 2019

Stayed in a double queen for 4 adults. The room was spacious and the whole hotel had a great style. One of my favorite designs on our whole east coast trip, which included a bunch of hotels! However, I found the front desk staff weirdly dressed (only one guy was wearing a suit, and the others casual everyday clothes) which didn’t match the rest of the hotel. We ordered room service which was great. Food was good and the delivery guy was super friendly. Hotel is quite noisy but it was okay because we were so tired we could sleep through a hurricane... :) All in all a good hotel in the heart of Charlotte. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel but OMG the noise

Jul 12th, 2019

Shame about this hotel. It's nice, updated and has access to a good gym (Charlotte Athletic Club). But the noise starting in the evenings and going until late night is really not to be believed. The disturbances start early evening with some guy who shouts "Jesus Saves!" repeatedly right near the hotel. Even on the 12th floor you can hear it. Right after that, the live band across the street starts up. It feels like trying to sleep in the middle of an EDM concert. The front desk is sanguine; "Charlotte noise ordinance permits live music until 2am". Well, how nice for them. Time to look for a new hotel that's not located at the front row of a concert. Great facilities but theives

Jul 10th, 2019

I’ve stayed at this location multiple times for business over the years. I had great experiences during my first few stays but that was not the case during my last stay. I had ordered room service one night, which turned out to be a mistake. My watch was stolen out of my room by the staff member who delivered my food. After alerting the hotel manager and police I was assured that everything possible would be done to remedy the situation. I’ve been contacting the hotel lost prevention manager for weeks. At first they were responsive but when it came time for them to compensate me they quickly stopped responding. I am disappointed with this hotel’s lack of professionalism and inability to remedy this situation. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Weekend Stay

Jul 8th, 2019

I stayed at the Omni Charlotte Hotel for a staycation in the city. I loved the room and the staff! My only complaints would be parking (the valet entrance is on Trade St. and things can get a little hectic if valet is busy), and the noise. Our room was overlooking the pool, which is right across from the Epicenter. Needless to say, the music from Rooftop 210 and lights were going until 2 AM. I didn't mind this as we were up late anyway, however I could see how that would be problematic for someone with children or those that go to bed early. Besides that, our room was nice and updated, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
