Since the pandemic has ruined fans attending baseball and basketball games, I decided to treat myself. I refused to let COVID-19 ruin my chances to see My Braves play live! I’m working from home so it was a easy decision for me. I watched both Spring Training games from the comfort of my room! A few times I went down to the pool area to catch the game since there were no events happening in that area. There were quite a few Braves fans taking advantage of this site to be a little closer to the game. This hotel does an outstanding job communicating prior to your stay. I received a text asking about my arrival time so that my room would be ready. From a seamless check-in to a seamless checkout you guys get A++++++! I even received a text the morning of checkout to find out if there was anything I needed prior to checking out. The staff was simply amazing! The room was beautiful and very well tended to prior to my arrival. KUDOS!!!!!! Make sure you request a room on higher floors if you want an amazing view. My room was closest to Comcast but it was still a perfect view of the Battery and the ballpark. I was in Room 1107. I will definitely be back from another stay SOON! I’ll drive 30 minutes from house to stay here without hesitation. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Well done, Omni.

We made plans to stay here months ago and to go to a Braves game, but decided to keep our reservation and enjoy the atmosphere. Had a balcony room overlooking the Battery and Truist Park. The details of the hotel with all the baseball themes are great, the staff was very professional and we felt like the room had been cleaned well and sanitized. Masks are required (even though some guests ignored the request) and only 4 to an elevator. We spent most of our time at the pool, which provided hand sanitizer and plenty of towels. Even got to see the Braves practice. Overall, a great experience except for all the yahoos who refuse to wear masks when asked to do so on the property. A must for Braves fans! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Balcony Room is a Must

Bring your check book! The balcony room is a must. Perfect view of the field. If you are a Braves Fan, I highly recommend splurging on one of these rooms. If you get a balcony room you can watch the game from the comfort of your room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice place but my stay with them was cut short by Covid-19

Mar 26th, 2020

I'd planned this trip more than a month ago, had a total of 24 meetings set up and was projecting a really busy, really productive week. I would fly in on Sunday, and then head back to Dallas late Friday afternoon. But on the Friday before I was to leave, the newsrooms starting tongue-wagging about the virus that was spreading rapidly. There were rumors of stay at home orders, but nothing concrete. So I decided to go ahead and make the trip. First clue something was not right was on the flight to Atlanta. On my American Airlines flight that would have accommodated 120 or so passengers, there were maybe 30 people on board. But, the airport in Atlanta was busy enough, got a Lyft, and headed to the Omni. The hotel itself was nice, but even on Sunday it was pretty quiet. The bar and restaurant in the hotel were closed and I got the impression I was one of maybe 20 people staying there. My suite was very nice, the staff was great, and the location of the hotel is awesome with the bars and restaurants of The Battery right outside. For sure I look forward to going there again sometime soon. But will wait until the virus has run it's course. By Tuesday morning, all those restaurants in The Battery were shutting down. The hotel staff called me that morning to advise that there would be no more room service and that the cleaning crew was staying home. I was welcome to stay til Friday as planned, but I would be on my own. At least they gave me a heads up on that. So I booked a flight back to Dallas that afternoon. Like I said, my experience at this Omni was fine, and I will be back. But not until things return to normal. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It's ok

Not as full service as other location but definitely well appointed. I recommend NOT booking a room that overlooks the grassy courtyard. Loud music plays automatically through speakers until late at night. It can be heard on the higher floors. You'll miss the view of the stadium. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
