Great choice

Jun 17th, 2020

My husband, 1 year old, and I stayed here for 1 night as part of a road trip we were on. The hotel had a beautiful view of Yale, was conveniently located, and was clean and nice. We would definitely stay here again in the future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful hotel

Mar 6th, 2020

This hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The staff are warm and friendly. Walking distance to Yale. There is a gym which was quiet each time I went and the breakfast was excellent. Thank you for a pleasant stay TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

nail clippings

Mar 4th, 2020

We checked into the hotel and there were nail clippings by the side of the bed. A small pile of nail clippings. The front desk staff didn't seem surprised or shocked by my discovery. They also didn't seem disgusted when I showed them a picture of the pile of nail clippings. They offered a reduction on the bill. We won't be staying there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Simply not clean

Feb 17th, 2020

I came here to stay on business. I was busy all day during both days I stayed, so I didn’t have a lot of time to cause a ruckus about this while there. But on my first night, one of the two beds in the room had sheets that had another persons hair on them. Fine. I used the other, clean bed. But then, when I went to take a shower the morning of my second day, I saw that not only was the tub filthy, but there were orange spots and chipped paint by the drain! (see attached) it was gross. I don’t know if this was mold or rust - either way it absolutely should NOT have been there. I actually went out and grabbed a pair of flip flops like college because I didn’t really want to be barefoot on it. It should also be noted that this hotel is right across the street from a very popular nightclub with college students, and the sound of late night partying permeates the room if you’re on that side of the hotel and low enough (like I was). I’d attach a video if I could. It was ridiculous. I try to stay at omni hotels whenever I can. But this really put a very bad taste in my mouth for this specific Omni. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Outdated and Old

Feb 11th, 2020

Outdated and old. This property is in desperate need of improvement. Stayed here because last year when I came I ate at the Davenport ( top of hotel on 19th floor ) for brunch. It is very nice with gorgeous views. Turns out this is the only nice part of the hotel. Everything else is old and dirty. Have also stayed ( in order of niceness ) at The Study, The Blake and the Graduate and this is by far the worse of all the properties. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
