Old, worn down, rooms are small for that high price. 2300$ for a room of 12x10ft

Window to a decaying building Reception was not in control about payment and 2 receptionist gave wrong information costing a private person a wrong bill of 1500$. Restaurant looks fine and classy. But the price made us go to restaurants instead. Breakfast was not included in price. First time I have experienced that. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Surprise!!

Jun 15th, 2019

We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary & after a full day of sightseeing we came back to our room to find a card & a Boston Cream Pie!!! What a special surprise! This is a great place to stay. It’s located close to many attractions & the MBTA is only a stone’s throw away from the hotel. Highly recommend the Omni Parker House Hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, a bit run down

Jun 15th, 2019

The Parker is certainly an aged beauty but management needs to do some maintenance and repairs. For over $300 a night, wallpaper should not be peeling off the walls, the mattress should be comfortable and the shower head shouldn’t be “low-flow”. Walls are paper thin and you can hear conversations in hall or next door perfectly. I stayed 4 nights and barely slept due to loud tv and a wedding party that roamed the halls all night partying. I really like Omni hotels in general and i was somewhat surprised to see this property in such poor condition given the price point. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful hotel In great location but improvements needed

Jun 15th, 2019

This hotel is a beautiful old building in a great location. Walking distance to the park, subway, restaurants, pharmacy and walgreens. Service in the restaurant and cafe was good as were the bellman. However - rooms don’t have any sort of refrigerator. Not even a small one so don’t expect one to store any milk or food. - the air conditioner in our room was right next to our bed and very loud - the rooms need some more sound proofing. You can hear everything in the corridor and other peoples rooms. - when we arrived our room wasn’t ready, which was fine but when we came back for the key we had no explanation of anything. Nothing about our free wifi, the fitness center, the breakfast included, nothing. Other than that can’t beat the location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great stories but needs a refresh

Jun 15th, 2019

This was one of the few hotels that were still available for a conference I attended. The design of building is classics and a visit is worthwhile. Apparently John F Kennedy proposed to Jackie in the hotel and you can see the table where he proposed. I also remember the sommmelier was great. However, given the facade and the place looking really dated, the place is not worth USD 400 a night. As much as I prefer classic style hotels to these modern bylaws skyscraper monstrosities they call hotels, you can do better value. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
