Celebrated 30th wedding anniversary! Loved it!!

We had the flight from hell and after being delayed 5 times ended up driving to New Orleans. I called and explained the problem of us checking in around 3 in morning and they said no problem to check in late they will be waiting for us. We were greeted with cold water bottles at 2am. Valet parking. Great service. Loved the pool bar and rib room. Always greeted with a good morning from all staff. Also, received a bottle of champagne and chocolate covers strawberries from the hotel, no charge for our anniversary. Room was a petite queen, worked for us. Very clean no issues. Anniversary Celebration

It was a very busy weekend but the hotel staff were very friendly, check in and out were smooth and our rooms were clean and decent sized! We spent a lot of time at the rooftop bar and the pool. The hotel was in a great location for easy access to all of the sites we wanted to walk to. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not Worth It

Travelled with family. Front desk staff was rude upon check-in (only interacted with a single individual- refers to only them). Since we were traveling with kids, we asked for a room away from the road and away from the elevators - request was made weeks/months prior during reservation process . We received a room by the road and directly by the elevators. When asked to move was told there were no other rooms. All night, we could hear the “dings” from the elevator. Lots of noise from outside the hotel and inside foot traffic - please know that this was a Wednesday night, not a weekend. Kids were unable to rest and we hardly got any sleep. Couldn’t leave fast enough in the morning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good hotel, great location

This is a very good hotel in the French Quarter, It is centrally located, walking distance to everything you want to see in the area - Bourbon st. Jackson Square, The French market, and even the Casino and the outlet mall (about 10-15 minutes walk). The only pronelm is that they promise Queen size beds, and they are actually smaller than that (probably full) - so be aware. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Expectations were definitely not met.

It was our 25th anniversary so my husband surprised me with a stay in this plush hotel. which was located perfectly in the quarter and had good reviews. I had always wanted a room with a balcony so he got that, ordered champagne and strawberries and a dozen roses for the occasion. We arrived an our early, asked if early check in was possible. It wasn't. No problem there. We were met at the door with luggage help and valet parking. Nice! We were able to leave our luggage and walk around the city until our room was ready. Hours later, we were finally able to check in. Not cool! When we got to the room my husband was disappointed because he had paid for roses and just received a bouquet of mixed flowers. When speaking to the concierge, he laid blame elsewhere but agreed to remove the charge from our bill and also let us know that there were two weddings going on that same weekend. Not to be cold, but that wasn't our problem. Staff accordingly. We enjoyed our days wandering around the city and our late evenings spent on our balcony people watching. On the third day of our stay we were startled to realize that there were men on our balcony. One worker had posted a sign on our door letting us know that the railings were being painted from 8-5 and we wouldn't be able to use the balcony during those times. Afterwards he proceeded to peep in our window. My husband quickly called the front desk to complain for the fact that we paid for a room with a balcony that we weren't even going to be able to use part of the time and the disturbing fact that a painter was peeping into our room through the sheers. After all was said and done we received many apologies from the front desk and manager, an assurance that the painter would be dealt with and a refund on one night's stay. Most likely we will not return. There were just too many negatives there. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
